Before you start reading, I of course have to do the “new legacy info page”!

Thank you for coming to read, first and foremost.

I’ll try to keep this short – this legacy has no theme, I just felt it was time to start a new one. I’m not

sure how many generations it will be. . . I may go beyond ten.

And lastly, enjoy the chapter!

This confused looking fellow would be our new founder! River Gemm is an artsy, intelligent man with hopes of one day becoming a chief of staff in the medical field. He loves to read and also hopes to raise a family one day when the time is right.

The time is obviously not right just yet! River lives in a small shack that is better than most first legacy homes. He has windows and even brick covering his drywall! The inside may not be roomy, but River has all of the necessities and even a telescope to keep him entertained.

I was surprised to see River striking up conversation so easily with the passersby. He is a shy sim and has no outgoing personality points at all! This didn’t hinder his quick friendship with Kaylynn Spitzig however. After a few hours of talking outside, they learned a lot about each other and River even managed to snag a number from the cute red head!

River hasn’t been able to find a job in the medical field yet, but he seems to really enjoy painting and makes money doing it. I’ll admit that River’s rudimentary art skills aren’t going to support him for long, but I can’t seem to bring myself to have him accept a career that he isn’t interested in. Besides, River manages to make a little with his artwork and he enjoys himself as well. That’s what counts right? What does it matter that he can’t pay the bills yet lol!

It only took our founder a few days before he had maxed out his creativity skill points. This lead to a subscription to the arts and craft magazine and also Demi Louie stopped in to invite him to the art community where he could mingle with a more creative crowd.

In his spare time, River enjoyed passing the day chatting with Kaylynn. She was beautiful, smart and they had a lot in common! Kaylynn was also an art fanatic and they could discuss sculptures and paintings all day long and not get bored of the conversation.

The more time River and Kaylynn spent together, the more River was impressed with his friend. She had such a good heart and cared about the environment a lot! Kay wants to one day start her own recycling company and teach school children the importance of taking care of your Earth.

Kaylynn may look all rough and tough on the outside, but she’s really a sweet and fun person to be around. River was quickly discovering that! He really liked spending time with his friend and they always had a blast together no matter what they were doing.

Finally, two weeks after moving into his new home, River found his desired medical career. He started out as a Emergency Medical Technician making two hundred and eighty dollars a day. He can certainly make more by painting, but it’s not too shabby!

Only one day and work and River managed to impress the big boss! He was promoted on his first day at work from EMT to paramedic. He now makes about a hundred more dollars a day and brings home three hundred and eighty five big ones at the end of the night. It’s a good thing too, because the bills are starting to pile up!

River works nights as a paramedic, so his days are wide open for him to enjoy time with Kaylynn or working on his artwork. On his first day off, River decided to head down to the My Muse Art Studio (the one that Demi Louie invited him to join) and check out what it had to offer.

The studio had so many fun things to do! They had painting easels, clay sculpting stations, blueprint drawing tables and sewing tables as well. River spent the whole day playing with all of these things and came home eager to go back one day soon.

When River arrived home from his trip to the studio, he saw a cute lady standing on his sidewalk. She walked over and introduced herself as Michelle Tse. They had a nice conversation and she even commented on the fact that she really enjoyed looking at pricey works of art, just like River enjoyed painting them!

Michelle and River chatted for a while and even exchanged phone numbers. They were going to make a date to go out to another art studio some time. River couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but there was something enchanting about Michelle. Besides the fact that she was obviously beautiful and intelligent, there was something about her that was drawing him in.

Work is going well for River, he is earning a great pay and slowly but surely making his way to achieving his lifetime want to become chief of staff. During the day River spends a lot of his time painting. Even though he has maxed out his creativity skill points, he still enjoys spending hours in front of the easel.

During the days and the nights at work, River constantly thought about his first meeting with Michelle. He couldn’t get her out of his mind. He called Kaylynn to talk about this – because he had never felt this way before. Kay seemed upset, even angry, when River brought up another woman that he’d met. River didn’t know why, they’d always been able to talk about anything. Kaylynn even hung up on him when he mentioned that Michelle was coming over for dinner that very night.

Although River was worried about Kaylynn and was racking his brains trying to figure out why she would be mad, he didn’t let that ruin his dinner with Michelle. They had excellent conversation and caught up on what each other had been doing since they met. Michelle was doing well, just working away and enjoying saving up some money for whatever her future might bring.

In addition to the excellent conversation Michelle brought to the table, she was also a very fun girl to hang out with! River has nine playful personality points and he really enjoys goofing off. Michelle seems to be about the same way. They really click together!

River may be playful, but one thing he is not is outgoing! River is the shy one of he and Michelle. So when Michelle leaned in for a kiss at the end of the night, River’s heart was beating so loudly he was sure his date could hear it. River felt himself falling for this woman at that point.

The next day when River went to take a bath, he noticed how disgusting his house was. He’d never been one to do the domestic things in life, like the cleaning, but he knew it had to be done. This made him thing even more about how nice it would be to have a woman in the house. Specifically how nice it would be if Michelle was that woman.

River’s promotions just won’t stop - not that I’m complaining ;) He is now a nurse and has an increased pay of four hundred and seventy six dollars a day. Not only his is pay better, but now River can work days again. This means a normal sleeping pattern and more time with Michelle during the week!

After taking a nap the morning of his promotion to nurse, River invited his girlfriend Michelle Tse over to celebrate. Every time he laid his eyes on her, Michelle took his breath away. He knew from the very first moment he met her, that there was something special about her. She might even be “the one”!

Even though River is an extraordinarily shy guy, he doesn’t mind when Michelle wants to get a little feisty! He really enjoys kissing and hugging his girlfriend. Even if it is on the front lawn!

That day River mustered up all of his courage and asked Michelle a very important question! He asked her to move in with him. Of course she said yes, she is already in love with him and was ecstatic that he wanted to take such a big step.

Michelle only brought a thousand dollars with her, but that combined with the money River has saved from all of his promotions was enough to add onto the house. It took just about all they had, but they were able to add on four rooms to the tiny shack. It’s starting to look more like a home now.

The love shack wasn’t the only thing that got a makeover! Michelle chopped off all of her curly locks and went for a more edgy cut. She also donned a green top to match her electric green eyeliner. She looks like one hot babe now!

Michelle immediately found her desired career and began working as an Executive Assistant in a law firm. One day she hopes to top the politics career.

And I’d say she is off to a pretty wonderful start, because she came home her first day with a promotion! Now she makes three hundred and fifty dollars a day as a Field Sales Representative.

Michelle and River cuddle together every single night that they go to bed. River is happy to finally have found “the one” and can’t wait to make it official between the two of them. Having Michelle as his wife could only make the situation sweeter.

Apparently Michelle was thinking the same thing! She has been in love with River for a long while now and has grown tired of waiting on her shy guy to pop the big question. So she took matters into her own hands and by doing so River finally fell in love with her and said yes of course!

There is no more free time for painting in this house! River is constantly earning promotions and that means he has to constantly skill to keep up. The latest promotion was from nurse to intern and now he brings home a whopping $574 a night!

Michelle’s secondary aspiration is grilled cheese. . . and it shows! She is usually in charge of making the meals since River is always stuck in a book for work. The menu pretty much stays the same every night: grilled cheese! Occasionally she’ll switch up the flavor of cheese though – just to keep things interesting ;)

Both Michelle and River finally have an off day that fell on the same day. They used this to their advantage and decided the time was right to get hitched! Right in front of their small home together River made the stunning Michelle his bride!

As a secondary family aspiration, River was over the moon to finally be putting a ring on his lovely bride’s finger. The new Mrs. River Gemm was thrilled to become a wife. This meant protection, stability and most of all love for the rest of her life.

The couple was in complete bliss as they shared their first kiss and husband and wife on the sunny summer afternoon! It was a perfect and intimate wedding.

Right away River brought up the topic of children. He wasn’t exactly getting any younger and wanted to still be somewhat young while his children were growing up. Michelle agreed and even though she’s quite a few years younger, she was willing to give up her party years to start a family with her handsome husband.

It didn’t take long before Michelle just knew she was pregnant! She’d never been sickly and lately all she did was throw up! She knew it wasn’t the grilled cheese – she’d been eating that since she was a freshman in college. It had to be because she was carrying a child.

River was too busy to notice his wife’s nausea. He got promoted again! This time he made the leap from intern to resident. Making $672 worked out wonderfully for the young couple, because they really needed money to add on a room for the upcoming arrival.

River wasn’t the only one getting promoted in the house! Michelle was pulling her weight too. Being promoted from executive assistant to field sales representative was definitely something to be proud of. Even worth jumping in rain puddles for apparently ;)

The couple’s excitement grew when Michelle finally started to show in her fifth month! They wondered if they would have a boy or girl? Or both? Would the baby look more like Michelle or River? They had so much to look forward to once the baby was born it was almost overwhelming! But they knew they would be great parents together.

Since Michelle started showing, she didn’t go to work anymore. That meant a lot more free time for her! She spent a lot of time painting on the easel since River no longer had time for it. She found that it was a good way to help earn some extra money for the nursery fund.

River and Michelle didn’t have the nursery ready in time however hard they tried! Michelle went into labor early one morning before River went to work. Thankfully he was there to see his first child being born. It was definitely overwhelming for him!

They had a beautiful baby girl that River decided to name Rayna. She had blue eyes and blonde hair just like her father. In fact, she was pretty much a little clone of her daddy. Rayna was the light in River’s life and the world was wonderful for him. He was now a father!

Rayna was also the little ray of sunshine in her mother’s life. Michelle loved having a little girl to spoil and even took extra days off work to spend with her little one. As a fortune sim, this is a big sacrifice because it means giving up money!

Rayna was such the perfect first child! She was hardly ever crabby, she never cried except when she was hungry and slept through the majority of the night. River and Michelle decided if every child was this easy, they definitely wanted more! They started trying to conceive again right away.

Rayna continues to be a happy little baby! River and Michelle have very hectic work schedules, but they always make time to see their precious baby during the day. Either before or after work, they both kiss their daughter and make sure she knows they both love her.

As a secondary family aspiration, River doesn’t like missing so much time with Rayna. He spends a lot of hours at the hospital each day and is exhausted by the time he comes home. Luckily he is quickly making his way up the career ladder and will soon be able to make his own schedule so he can have more time at home with his little princess.

It didn’t take long before Michelle found out that she was going to have another baby! Both she and River are jumping for joy at the news! They have been trying for another child and are ecstatic to be able to tell Rayna she’s going to have a baby sister or brother.

Rayna’s toddler birthday came just in time too! Thankfully the new baby and Rayna will have a few years between them. This will make being full time and work and raising two children just a tad easier on River and Michelle.

It looks like River just spit out Rayna, doesn’t it!? She is the clone of her daddy. She has his chunky cheeks, bright blue eyes and blonde hair. Ray is just too cute! Her personality is 8.0.1.7.9. She’s neat, shy, lazy, playful and nice!

Michelle is getting pretty close to her due date and is excited about adding a new baby girl or boy to the family. This means Rayna will have a sibling to play with! Michelle is upset about one thing though – once she has the baby she won’t be able to use the excuse “I’m eating for two” when she scarves down three grilled cheese sandwiches at the breakfast table in the mornings ;)

Michelle is really enjoying the last few months of her pregnancy. Not only is she healthy, but Rayna is at the age where she is beginning to walk and talk. This is the fun age for parents to have their children. Michelle is grateful that she can devote all of her time on maternity leave to her only daughter. In just a few months all this will change!

River loves being a father and he is great at it! He is more realistic than his wife when it comes to adding a second child to the family though. They barely have enough money to pay bills now and Rayna still doesn’t have her own nursery. How are they going to cope when the new baby comes?

For those reasons, River feels like he has to study hard all day in order to keep earning promotions. He wants only the best for his children and feels that he has to be the provider for his whole family. This means a lot of time spent away from his daughter and a lot of time spent with his bookcase.

It’s time for the new baby to join the Gemm family! Michelle had just barely finished her grilled cheddar cheese sandwich when she went into labor. This time she was all alone for the birth – River was at work and Rayna was napping in her crib.

Michelle welcomed two new babies into the family! Even though she and River had names already picked out, Michelle decided not to go with the original names, but to name her babies after cheese! She had a beautiful girl named Colby and a boy named Pepper Jack.

On the same day that Colby and Pepper Jack were born, Rayna had her childhood birthday. River made it home in time for the birthday celebration and was thrilled to see his little girl aging up.

Rayna looks more like her father everyday! She is the spitting image of River – and isn’t she adorable!? The only thing I’d say she really got from her mother was the normal sized eyes. River’s are quite a bit larger than his daughters.

River has decided that spending days and days studying his skills for promotions definitely is not worth missing seeing his children grow up. On his days off, instead of skilling, he spends time with Rayna. As a primary knowledge sim, he wants to share the joy of learning with his daughter and often reads children's stories to her. You can tell Ray really enjoys the time with her daddy.

River never was the best with infants, so Michelle does the majority of the work when it comes to taking care of Colby and Pepper Jack. The babies are pretty well behaved. . . as well behaved as newborns can be. Michelle and River got lucky with all three of their kids.

I definitely recommend getting multiples on separate sleeping and eating schedules. If not, this mass chaos happens a lot! Both twins are always hungry at the same time and need diaper changes simultaneously. It’s a mess when Michelle is home alone.

Colby and Pepper Jack’s infancy passed by in the blink of an eye. If Michelle and River thought they were exhausted now, they have no idea what they are in for raising twin toddlers!

With a personality of 5.0.1.9.10, Colby is a pretty shy and lazy girl! Just like her daddy in personality. She has her mother’s looks though (only with blonde hair). Isn’t she a sweetheart!?

And this handsome fellow would be Pepper Jack! Little PJ has a great personality of 5.9.1.9.10. He’s a lazy, but playful tyke with a great kindness! He looks very much like his father with his wide nose and large eyes. He is so more than adorable. I see someone breaking hearts in high school ;)
