CARE & CLEANING NOTES:Nylex®-covered Foam Positioners: Do not use abrasive and/or phenolic-based cleaning agents.

Routine care: Wipe surface with neutral detergent and lukewarm water; rinse with water and dry thoroughly.

Washing: Wash at no higher than 120° F. Tumble dry at low heat. Do not use bleach.

Disinfection: Wipe surface with a quaternary solution at recommended dilution ratios. Neutral solutions less than 10pH are preferred.

Gel Positioners:Use standard operating room cleaning agents. Bleach and long soaks not recommended. Avoid sharp instruments or dragging pads and positioning devices across sharp edges.

Gel pads may be warmed in warming cabinets, heating blankets or by immersing in water to make the pads approach normal human body temperature. Do not heat over 140°F.

Do not attempt to sterilize or autoclave. Store flat at room temperature. Do not move patients while on the pads.
