4.1 Zweckbestimmung

Der Zweck des Clinometer-Systems liegt darin,

indirekten Zahnersatz im Frontzahnbereich an die

Gesichtscharakteristika anzupassen. Es kann auch

für die Planung und Überwachung kieferorthopä-

discher Behandlungen und kieferchirurgischer

Eingriffe eingesetzt werden.

4.2 Produktbeschreibung

Das Clinometer-System nach Dr. Behrend dient

der Ermittlung und Übertragung von ästhetischen

Parametern am Patienten. Es besteht aus den bei-

den Komponenten Praxis-Clinometer und Labor-

Clinometer.

Beim Zahnarzt wird das Praxis-Clinometer am

Artex Gesichtsbogen befestigt. Das Clinometer-

Schild hat keinen Kontakt zum Patienten. Im

Labor wird das Labor-Clinometer am Artikulator

angebracht und die ermittelten Daten auf die pro-

thetische Versorgung übertragen.

Das Clinometer-System sorgt dafür, dass jede

prothetische Versorgung im Frontzahnbereich an

die Gesichtscharakteristika angepasst wird, z. B.:

_ Veneers

_ Kronen

_ festsitzender/herausnehmbarer Zahnersatz

_ Totalprothesen

_ implantatgetragene Prothesen

Es kann aber auch für die Planung und Überwa-

chung kieferorthopädischer Behandlungen und

kieferchirurgischer Eingriffe eingesetzt werden.

Mit dem Praxis-Clinometer legt der Zahnarzt die

Idealwinkel der Zähne aus frontaler Sicht fest. Die-

ser Winkel – der Ästhetikwinkel – wird notiert und

zusammen mit dem Auftragszettel an das Labor

übermittelt. Der Zahntechniker montiert das

Labor-Clinometer an den Artikulator und orien-

tiert sich bei der Aufstellung der Zahnfront an den

vertikalen Hilfslinien des „programmierten“ Labor-Clinometers.

Auch wenn dem Zahntechniker nur ein Wachswall

oder ein Modell der provisorischen Versorgung als

Anhaltspunkt für die Zahnstellung geliefert wird,

kann das Labor-Clinometer hilfreich eingesetzt

werden. Wird der Wachswall oder das Modell des

Provisoriums in den Artikulator eingesetzt, kön-

nen mit dem Labor-Clinometer die korrekten Win-

kel der Zähne und der Schneidekanten festgelegt

werden. Diese numerische Information ist jeder-

zeit wider mit dem Einsatz des Labor-Clinometers

abrufbar.

5 Anwendung

5.1 Praxis-Clinometer

Die Bestimmung des Ästhetikwinkels kann entwe-

der in der Planungsphase des Zahnersatzes

durchgeführt werden oder bei jeder beliebigen

Sitzung während der prothetischen Versorgung.

5.1.1 Montage an den Artex-Gesichtsbogen

Das Praxis-Clinometer wird zusammen mit dem

Artex-Gesichtsbogen verwendet:

▷Glabellastütze und Gelenksupport vom Artex-

Gesichtsbogen abmontieren.

Wenn Frontzähne mit Kronen oder festsit-

zendem Ersatz versorgt werden sollen, ist

es ratsam, den Ästhetikwinkel vor der Prä-

paration der Zähne auszumessen. Anhand

des Praxis-Clinometers kann dann die Aus-

richtung der präparierten Inzisalkanten

kontrolliert oder die provisorische Versor-

gung angepasst werden.

gen auf Anschlag einführen.

5.1.2 Anlegen am Patienten

▷Den mit dem Clinometer versehenen Artex-

Gesichtsbogen am Patienten anlegen. Dabei den

Gesichtsbogen mit einem Finger mittig abstüt-

zen, damit der Gesichtsbogen nicht transversal

abkippt.

Zur Bestimmung des Ästhetikwinkels müs-

sen sich Patient und Zahnarzt gegenüber-

stehen. Es ist nicht möglich, den

Ästhetikwinkel am sitzenden oder liegen-

den Patient im Behandlungsstuhl festzule-

gen. Im Interesse des Patienten

grundsätzlich erst das Clinometer am

Gesichtsbogen befestigen und erst dann

den Gesichtsbogen anlegen.

▷Den Clinometer vertikal so ausrichten, dass die

obere Querlinie des Schildes mit den Pupillen

auf einer Höhe ist.

In der Regel liegt die untere Querlinie dann auf

der Höhe der Okklusionsebene.

▷ Die Rändelschraube drehen, bis die obere Hori-

zontallinie des Clinometer-Schildes in Überein-

stimmung mit der Bipupillarlinie ist.

(in Richtung C = clockwise/im Uhrzeigersinn,

in Richtung A = anti-clockwise/gegen den Uhr-

zeigersinn).

Dabei müssen weitere Charakteristika des

Gesichts berücksichtigt werden:

▪ Die Bipupillarlinie hat generell Leitfunktion.

▪ Nasenachse (Gesichtsmittenlinie), Lippenlinie

und die äußere Gesichtsform müssen in den

Gesamteindruck einbezogen werden.

▪ Die Okklusionsebene der vorhandenen Zähne

hat in dieser Phase nur untergeordnete Bedeu-

tung.

▪ Es empfiehlt sich, das Schild abwechselnd

absichtlich zu weit nach links und dann nach

rechts zu drehen, um sich nach und nach dem

idealen Ästhetikwinkel zu nähern.

▷Das Clinometer-Schild vom Gesichtsbogen ent-

fernen und den gefundenen/festgelegten Win-

kel an der Skala ablesen, z. B. „1 ° A“ = 1 Grad

nach links.

▷Diesen Wert sowohl auf der Karteikarte des

Patienten als auch auf dem Auftragszettel für

das Labor notieren.

Das Clinometer-Schild hat keine spezielle

Mittellinie. Der Blickwinkel kann so

gewählt werden, dass eine der Längslinien

zwischen den mittleren Schneidezähnen

verläuft (siehe Bild 7). Danach liegen die

benachbarten Linien im allgemeinen über

den mittleren und seitlichen Schneide-

zähnen und den Eckzähnen.

5.2 Labor-Clinometer

5.2.1 Modellübertragung in Artex-Artikulator

Das Oberkiefermodell per Gesichtsbogenregistrat

einartikulieren. Die schädel-/achs-orientierte

Modellzuordnung ist zwingend. Dies kann durch

direkte Adaption des Gesichtsbogens am Artikula-

tor oder durch die indirekte Übertragung per

Übertragungsstand oder Übertragungstisch

geschehen.

5.2.2 Montage des Labor-Clinometers am

Artex-Artikulator

▷Den vom Zahnarzt angegebenen Winkelwert am

Labor-Clinometer einstellen, z. B. 1 ° A:

▪ Den großen Drehknopf in die gewünschte Rich-

tung drehen (hier in A-Richtung) und den Null-

strich mit dem ersten Strich in

Übereinstimmung bringen.

▪ Die Einstellung mit der kleinen Konter-

schraube gegen unbeabsichtigtes Verdrehen

sichern.

▷Am Artex-Artikulator den Standard-Frontzahn-

führungsstift gegen den Winkelstift tauschen.

Der Winkelstift erlaubt später freie Sicht auf die

Frontpartie des Modells.

▷Den Stützstift des Artikulatoroberteils lösen.

▷Das Labor-Clinometer am rückwärtigen Schlitz

auf Anschlag zum Stützstiftgewinde einschie-

ben.

Der Stützstift ist Scharnier für das Labor-Clino-

meter.

▷Die Fixierschraube des Frontzahnführungsstift-

halters so weit aufdrehen, dass das Clinometer

unter der Fixierschraube bis zum Anschlag am

Gewinde eingeschwenkt werden kann.

Die Gesichtsbogenregistrierung muss nun

zwingend mit dem Artex-Gesichtsbogen

durchgeführt werden, damit die Modelle in

der gleichen Relation – Patienten analog –

in den Artikulator übertragen werden. Nur

bei übereinstimmenden Referenzpunkten

kann der ermittelte Ästhetikwinkel wirk-

sam auf die Gestaltung der Zahnfront

übertragen werden.

Verpackung

Bei der Verpackung ist der Hersteller an den län-

derspezifischen Verwertungssystemen beteiligt,

die ein optimales Recycling gewährleisten.

Alle verwendeten Verpackungsmaterialien sind

umweltverträglich und wiederverwertbar.

Zum Ausdrehen (zur Seite schwenken) des

4 Product Specifications

4.1 Intended use

The purpose of the Clinometer System is to adapt

indirect dentures in the anterior region to the

facial characteristics of the patient. It can also be

used for planning and monitoring orthodontic

treatment and oral surgery.

4.2 Product Description

The Clinometer System according to Dr. Behrend

is used for determining and transferring esthetic

parameters to the patient. It consists of the fol-

lowing two components: The operatory clinome-

ter and the laboratory clinometer. At the dentist's,

the operatory clinometer is attached to the Artex

facebow. The Clinometer shield is not in contact

with the patient. In the dental lab, the laboratory

clinometer is attached to the articulator and the

determined data is transferred to the prosthetic

restoration.

The Clinometer System ensures that every pros-

thetic restoration in the anterior region is adapted

to the facial characteristics, such as:

_ veneers

_ crowns

_ fixed and removable partial dentures

_ full dentures

_ implant-supported dentures

However, it can also be used for planning and

monitoring orthodontic treatment and oral sur-

gery.

Using the operatory clinometer, the dentist deter-

mines the ideal angle of the teeth as viewed from

the front. This angle - the esthetic angle - is noted

down and sent to the laboratory together with the

order form. The dental technician mounts the lab-

oratory clinometer to the articulator and uses the

vertical auxiliary lines of the “programmed ” labo-

ratory clinometer for orientation, when setting up

the tooth front.

Even if a dental technician receives only a wax rim

or a model of the temporary restoration as a guide

for the tooth alignment, the use of the laboratory

clinometer is still very helpful. By inserting the

wax rim or model of the temporary restoration in

the articulator, the correct teeth angles and

incisal edges can be determined with the labora-

tory clinometer. This numerical information can

be retrieved at any time using the laboratory cli-

nometer.

specialised personnel.

4.3 Delivery Scope

The system consists of the two components oper-

atory clinometer (219950) and laboratory clinom-

eter (219950C).

4.4 Declaration of Conformity

request from the manufacturer.

5 Application

5.1 Operatory clinometer

The esthetic angle of the patient‘s face can be

determined either during the planning phase of

the prosthesis or at any session during the pros-

thetic restoration.

5.1.1 Mounting to the Artex facebow

The operatory clinometer is used together with

the Artex facebow:

▷Remove the glabella support and the joint sup-

port from the Artex facebow.

When anterior teeth are to be restored

with crowns or a fixed partial denture, it is

advisable to measure the esthetic angle of

the face prior to tooth preparation. The

operatory clinometer can then be used to

check the alignment of the incisal edges of

the preparations or to adapt the provi-

sional restoration.

▷ Insert the clinometer to the stop into the

tapered guide of the joint-support holder on the

Artex facebow.

5.1.2 Transferring to the Patient

▷Fit the Artex facebow with the mounted clinom-

eter to the patient. In this, centrally support the

facebow with one finger, so that the facebow

does not tilt off transversally.

For determining the aesthetic angle, the

patient and dentist must stand face-to-

face. It is not possible to determine the

esthetic angle of the patient sitting or

lying in the dentist's chair. In the interest

of the patient, always attach the clinome-

ter to the facebow first, and then transfer

the face bow to the patient.

▷Align the clinometer vertically so that the upper

transverse line of the shield is level with the

pupils.

Generally, the lower transverse line will then lie

at the level of the occlusal plane.

▷Rotate the knurled knob until the upper horizon-

tal line of the clinometer shield is in line with the

bipupillary line.

(in direction C = clockwise,

in direction A = anticlockwise).

Other facial characteristics must also be taken

into account.

▪ The bipupillary line generally has a guiding

function.

▪ The nasal axis (facial centre line), lip line and

external facial shape must be included in the

overall appearance.

▪ The occlusal plane of the existing teeth is only

of secondary importance in this phase.

▪ An effective method of choosing the angle is to

move the shield deliberately too far clockwise,

then too far anti-clockwise, alternating from

side to side and gradually closing in on the

ideal estethic angle.

▷Remove the clinometer shield from the facebow

and read off the found/determined angle from

the scale, e.g. “1 ° A” = 1 degree to the left.

▷Record this value both on the patient's file card

and on the laboratory order form.

The clinometer shield has no special

center line. The viewing angle can be

selected in such a manner that one of the

longitudinal lines runs between the central

incisors (see Fig. 7). When this is done, the

adjacent vertical lines will generally lie

over the central incisor, lateral incisor and

canine teeth.

The registration of the facebow must now

be carried out using the Artex facebow,

ensuring that the models are transferred

to the articulator in the same relation -

analogous to the patient. Only when the

reference points match, can the deter-

mined esthetic angle be effectively trans-

ferred to the design of the tooth front.

5.2 Laboratory clinometer

5.2.1 Model transfer in the Artex articulator

Articulate the maxillary model using facebow reg-

istration. The cranium-axis-oriented model articu-

lation is mandatory. This can be done by direct

adaptation of the facebow on the articulator or by

indirect transfer via transfer stand or transfer

table.

5.2.2 Mounting the laboratory clinometer on

the Artex articulator

▷Set the angle value indicated by the dentist on

the laboratory clinometer, e.g. 1° A:

▪ Turn the large rotation knob in the desired

direction (here in direction A) and align the

zero line with the first line.

▪ Secure the adjustment with the small counter

screw against unintentional twisting.

▷On the Artex articulator, replace the standard

anterior incisal pin against the cranked pin.

The cranked pin later allows a clear view of the

front section of the model.

▷Loosen the support pin of the upper articulator

part.

▷ At the rear slot, slide the laboratory clinometer

in to the stop against the support-pin thread.

The support pin serves as hinge for the labora-

tory clinometer.

▷Unscrew the fixing screw of the anterior incisal

pin holder so far that the clinometer can be piv-

oted to the stop at the thread under the fixing

screw.

▷Pivot the clinometer in to the stop.

▷Tighten the support-pin and fixing screw in

order to secure the clinometer.

To pivot out (swivel out sidewards) the cli-

nometer, loosen the support-pin and fixing

screw minimally.

4 Données relatives au pro-duit

4.1 Usage

Le but du système du clinomètre est de permettre

d’adapter indirectement la prothèse dentaire

dans la zone antérieure aux caractéristiques phy-

sionomiques du patient. Il peut également être uti-

lisé pour la conception et le contrôle de traitement

d’orthopédie dento-faciale et d’intervention de

chirurgie maxillo-faciale.

4.2 Description du produit

Le clinomètre du dr Behrend est un appareil ser-

vant à déterminer des paramètres esthétiques du

patient et à les transmettre au laboratoire.

L’appareil est constitué de deux parties : le clino-

mètre clinique et le clinomètre de laboratoire. Le

praticien monte le clinomètre de laboratoire sur

l’arc facial Artex. L’écran du clinomètre n’entre

pas en contact avec le patient. Le technicien

monte le clinomètre de laboratoire sur son articu-

lateur et transcrit les données sur la prothèse.

Le clinomètre permet d’adapter toute sorte de

prothèse en zone antérieure aux caractéristiques

physionomiques du patient, par ex. :

_ Veneers

_ Couronnes

_ Prothèses fixes ou amovibles

_ Prothèses totales

_ Prothèses implanto-portées

Il peut être également utilisé pour la conception et

le contrôle de traitement d’orthopédie dento-

faciale ou d’interventions de chirurgie maxillo-

faciale.

Le clinomètre clinique sert au praticien à détermi-

ner l’angle idéal des dents antérieures. Cet angle -

l’angle esthétique - est noté et transmis au labora-

toire avec le bon de commande Le technicien

monte le clinomètre de laboratoire sur son articu-

lateur et s’oriente pour le montage des dents

d’après les lignes verticales du clinomètre de labo-

ratoire « programmé ».

Le technicien peut utiliser le clinomètre de labora-

toire même s’il ne reçoit qu’un modèle des provi-

soires ou une cire d’articulé. Grâce au clinomètre

de laboratoire, il est possible de déterminer

l’angle esthétique et la ligne incisive correctes en

se basant sur la cire d’articulé ou sur un modèle de

provisoires monté en articulateur. Ces données

numériques peuvent être retransmises à tout

moment avec l’utilisation du clinomètre de labora-

toire.

4.3 Contenu de la livraison

Le système est constitué de deux parties : le clino-

mètre clinique (219950) et le clinomètre de labo-

5 Utilisation

5.1 Clinomètre clinique

L’angle esthétique peut être mesuré dès la phase

de conception de la prothèse ou à n’importe quel

moment de sa réalisation.

5.1.1 Montage sur l’arc facial Artex

Le clinomètre clinique s’utilise avec l’arc facial

Artex :

▷Démontez la tige glabellaire et le support de la

tige articulée de l’arc facial Artex.

Si les dents antérieures doivent être ser-

ties de couronnes ou d’une prothèse fixe, il

est préférable de mesurer l’angle esthéti-

que avant la préparation des dents. Le cli-

nomètre clinique vous permet de vérifier

l’inclinaison des bords incisifs préparés et

d’optimiser l’esthétique de vos provisoi-

res.

▷Montez le clinomètre à fond sur le cône de sup-

port de la tige articulée de l’arc facial Artex.

5.1.2 Pose sur le patient

▷Mettre l’arc facial Artex muni du clinomètre sur

le patient. Soutenez l’arc facial au milieu avec

un doigt afin qu’il ne penche pas de côté.

Il faut que le praticien soit face au patient

debout pour mesurer l’angle esthétique.

L’angle esthétique ne peut pas être mesu-

ré sur un patient assis ou allongé sur le

fauteuil. Il est préférable pour le patient de

fixer le clinomètre sur l’arc facial au préa-

lable puis de poser l’arc facial.

▷Ajustez le clinomètre en verticale de façon à ce

que la ligne transversale supérieure de l’écran

corresponde à la ligne bipupillaire du patient.

En règle générale, la ligne transversale inférieu-

re sera au niveau de la ligne d’occlusion.

▷Tournez la roue crantée de sorte à ajuster la

ligne horizontale supérieure de l’écran du clino-

mètre à la ligne bipupillaire.

(en direction C = clockwise/dans le sens des

aiguilles d’une montre,

en direction A = anticlockwise/dans le sens

inverse des aiguilles d’une montre).

Il convient de respecter d’autres caractéristi-

ques esthétiques en même temps :

▪ La ligne bipupillaire est la ligne directrice.

▪ Il faut également considérer l’axe nasal (milieu

du visage), la ligne du sourire et la forme exté-

rieure du visage.

▪ La ligne d’occlusion des dents existantes est

secondaire à cette étape.

▪ Il est conseillé de faire tourner l’écran vers la

gauche et puis vers la droite par un mouve-

ment de va-et-vient afin d’approcher l’angle

esthétique idéal à petits pas.

▷Enlevez l’écran de l’arc facial et lisez l’angle

trouvé/déterminé sur l’échelle gradué, par ex.

« 1 ° A »1 = 1 degré vers la gauche.

▷Notez cette valeur aussi bien dans la carte du

patient que celle adressée au laboratoire.

L’écran du clinomètre ne présente pas de

ligne médiane particulière. Choisissez

votre angle de vue de façon à ce qu’une

des lignes verticales soit positionnée entre

les incisives centrales (voir figure 7). Les

lignes voisines seront alors, en règle géné-

rale, au-dessus des incisives centrales et

latérales et des canines.

Il est impératif de faire l’enregistrement

de l’arc facial avec l’arc facial Artex pour

que les modèles soient mis en articulateur

en concordance avec la situation du

patient. L’angle esthétique ne peut être

transcrit sur l’articulateur que si les points

de référence concordent.

5.2 Clinomètre de laboratoire

5.2.1 Transfert des modèles sur l’articulateur

Artex

Le modèle maxillaire est monté d’après l’enregis-

trement de l’arc facial. Il est impératif d’avoir un

montage basé sur la base du crâne. Ceci est effec-

tué soit en montant l’arc facial directement sur

l’articulateur ou en faisant un transfert indirect

grâce au stand de transfert ou la table de transfert.

5.2.2 Montage du clinomètre de laboratoire

sur l’articulateur Artex

▷Réglez le clinomètre de laboratoire d’après la

valeur d’angle du dentiste, par ex. 1 ° A :

▪ Tournez la grosse roue crantée dans la direc-

tion souhaitée (ici en direction A) et ajustez le

point 0 avec le premier trait de direction.

▪ Assurez le réglage en serrant la petite vis de

blocage pour éviter un déblocage involontaire.

▷Échangez sur l’articulateur Artex la tige incisive

standard contre la tige angulée.

La tige angulée vous laisse la vue libre sur la

partie antérieure du modèle.

▷Lâchez la tige d’appui de la partie supérieure de

l’articulateur.

▷ Insérez à fond le clinomètre de laboratoire par

sa rainure arrière contre le filetage de la tige

d’appui.

La tige d’appui devient la charnière du clinomè-

tre de laboratoire.

▷Ouvrez la vis de fixation fixant la tige incisive de

manière à pouvoir pivoter le clinomètre à fond

sur le filetage en dessous de la vis de fixation.

▷Pivoter le clinomètre à fond.

Pour desserrer le clinomètre (le sortir vers

le côté), desserrer un peu la vis de la tige

d’appui ainsi que la vis de fixation.

4 Dati relativi al prodotto

4.1 Destinazione

Lo scopo del sistema Clinometer è quello di adat-

tare il dente sostitutivo indiretto nel settore denti

anteriori alle caratteristiche del viso. Lo stesso

può essere anche impiegato per la pianificazione

ed il controllo di trattamenti ortodontici e di inter-

venti di chirurgia mascellare.

4.2 Descrizione del prodotto

Il sistema Clinometer secondo Dr. Behrend ha la

funzione di rilevare e trasferire parametri estetici

sul paziente. Lo stesso è costituito da entrambi i

componenti Clinometer per studio e Clinometer

per laboratorio. Presso l'odontoiatra il Clinometer

per studio viene fissato all'arco facciale Artex. La

lastra del Clinometer non ha alcun contatto col

paziente. In laboratorio il Clinometer per laborato-

rio viene fissato all'articolatore e i dati rilevati

vengono quindi utilizzati nella realizzazione

dell'impianto protesico.

Il sistema Clinometer assicura che ogni impianto

protesico nel settore denti anteriori venga adat-

tato alle caratteristiche del viso, ad es.:

_ faccette

_ corone

_ protesi fissa/mobile

_ protesi totale

_ protesi su impianti

Lo stesso può essere anche impiegato inoltre per

la pianificazione ed il controllo di trattamenti orto-

dontici e di interventi di chirurgia mascellare.

Con il Clinometer per studio l'odontoiatra deter-

mina l'angolo ideale dei denti dalla vista frontale.

Questo angolo - angolo estetico - viene annotato e

trasmesso al laboratorio insieme all'ordine. Dopo

aver montato il Clinometer per laboratorio

sull'articolatore l'odontotecnico si orienta per il

montaggio dei denti frontali alle linee verticali del

Clinometer per laboratorio «programmato».

Il Clinometer per laboratorio può essere d'aiuto

anche nel caso in cui come punto di riferimento

per il montaggio dei denti, l'odontotecnico

disponga soltanto di un vallo in cera o di un

modello dell'impianto provvisorio. Dopo il montag-

gio del vallo in cera o del modello del provvisorio

nell'articolatore è possibile definire con il Clino-

meter per laboratorio gli angoli corretti dei denti e

degli spigoli incisali. Con l'impiego del Clinometer

per laboratorio questa informazione numerica

potrà essere richiamata in qualsiasi momento.

4.4 Dichiarazione di conformità

richiesta presso il produttore.

5 Impiego

5.1 Clinometer per studio

Il rilevamento dell'angolo estetico può essere

effettuato nella fase di pianificazione della protesi

oppure durante qualsiasi seduta durante la realiz-

zazione dell'impianto protesico.

5.1.1 Montaggio sull'arco facciale Artex

Il Clinometer viene impiegato insieme all'arco fac-

ciale Artex:

▷Smontare il supporto glabella e supporto dello

snodo dall'arco facciale Artex.

Per la ricostruzione di denti anteriori

mediante corone o protesi fissa si consi-

glia di effettuare la misurazione

dell'angolo estetico prima della prepara-

zione dei denti. Con l'ausilio del Clinometer

per studio si potrà quindi controllare l'alli-

neamento degli spigoli incisali preparati o

adattare l'impianto provvisorio.

dell'alloggiamento del supporto dello snodo

sull'arco facciale Artex fino all'arresto.

5.1.2 Applicazione al paziente

▷Applicare al paziente l'arco facciale Artex prov-

visto di Clinometer. Effettuando questa opera-

zione supportare centralmente con un dito

l'arco facciale per evitare il ribaltamento tra-

sversale dell'arco facciale stesso.

Per il rilevamento dell'angolo estetico il

paziente e l'odontoiatra devono essere

posizionati uno di fronte all'altro. È impos-

sibile rilevare l'angolo estetico sul

paziente seduto o sdraiato sulla poltrona.

Nell'interesse del paziente si consiglia in

linea di massima di fissare prima il Clino-

meter all'arco facciale ed applicare poi

l'arco facciale.

▷Allineare il Clinometer verticalmente in modo

tale che la linea trasversale superiore della

lastra si trovi all'altezza delle pupille.

Normalmente la linea trasversale inferiore si

troverà poi all'altezza del piano occlusale.

▷Girare la vite zigrinata fino a quando la linea

orizzontale superiore della lastra del Clinometer

corrisponde alla linea bipupillare.

(in direzione C = clockwise/in senso orario,

in direzione A = anti-clockwise/in senso antiora-

rio).

Nel contempo devono essere tenute presenti

altre caratteristiche del viso:

▪ Generalmente la linea bipupillare svolge una

funzione di guida.

▪ Il dorso del naso (linea mediana del viso), la

linea labbiale e la forma esterna del viso

devono essere inclusi nell'impressione gene-

rale.

▪ In questa fase il piano occlusale dei denti pre-

senti è soltanto di importanza secondaria.

▪ Si consiglia di ruotare di proposito la lastra,

alternativamente molto verso sinistra e poi

verso destra, per avvicinarsi gradualmente

all'angolo estetico ideale.

▷Rimuovere la lastra del Clinometer dall'arco fac-

ciale e leggere l'angolo trovato/determinato

sulla scala, ad es. «1 ° A» = 1 grado verso sinistra.

▷Annotare questo valore sia sulla cartella del

paziente che sull'ordine per il laboratorio.

La lastra del Clinometer non ha alcuna

apposita linea mediana. L'angolo visuale

può essere scelto in modo tale che una

delle linee longitudinali passi fra gli incisivi

centrali (vedi figura 7). Solitamente le

linee adiacenti si troveranno quindi sugli

incisivi centrali e laterali e sui canini.

5.2 Clinometer per laboratorio

5.2.1 Trasferimento del modello nell'articola-

tore Artex

Montare il modello della mascella superiore per

registrazione dell'arco facciale. La relazione

orientata cranio-mascellare del modello deve

essere assolutamente rispettata. Questo può

avvenire mediante l'adattamento diretto dell'arco

facciale sull'articolatore oppure tramite il trasferi-

mento indiretto per banco/tavolo di trasferi-

mento.

5.2.2 Montaggio del Clinometer per laborato-

rio sull'articolare Artex

▷ Impostare sul Clinometer per laboratorio il

valore dell'angolo indicato dall'odontoiatra, ad

es. 1 ° A:

▪ Ruotare la manopola grande nella direzione

desiderata (in questo caso in direzione A)

facendo corrispondere la linea dello zero con

la prima linea.

▪ Con la vite piccola assicurare l'impostazione

contro spostamento involontario.

▷Sull'articolatore Artex sostituire il perno di

guida incisale standard con il perno angolato.

Il perno angolato permetterà poi una libera

visuale sulla zona frontale del modello.

▷Allentare il perno di supporto della parte supe-

riore dell'articolatore.

▷ Inserire il Clinometer per laboratorio nella fes-

sura posteriore fino all'arresto sulla filettatura

del perno di supporto.

Il perno di supporto rappresenta la cerniera per

il Clinometer per laboratorio.

▷Svitare la vite di fissaggio del portaperno di

guida incisale fino a quando il Clinometer può

essere orientato sotto alla vite di fissaggio fino

all'arresto sulla filettatura.

La registrazione dell'arco facciale deve

assolutamente essere effettuata ora con

l'arco facciale Artex affinché i modelli ven-

gano trasferiti nell'articolatore nella

stessa relazione – analoga al paziente –.

Solo in caso di corrispondenza dei punti di

riferimento l'angolo estetico rilevato potrà

essere trasmesso in modo efficace alla

creazione dei denti frontali.

4.1 Uso previsto

El Sistema de Clinómetro ha sido concebido para

adaptar la prótesis dental indirecta en el sector de

los dientes anteriores a las características facia-

les. Además, también se puede utilizar para la pla-

nificación y supervisión de tratamientos

ortodónticos e intervenciones de cirugía maxilar.

4.2 Descripción del producto

El Clinómetro según el Dr. Behrend es un sistema

que sirve para para determinar y transferir pará-

metros estéticos del paciente. El sistema consta

de los dos componentes Clinómetro de consulta y

Clinómetro de laboratorio.El Clinómetro de con-

sulta lo fija el dentista al arco facial Artex. La placa

del Clinómetro no tiene por tanto contacto alguno

con el paciente. En el laboratorio, el Clinómetro de

laboratorio es fijado al articulador para transferir

a la rehabilitación protética los datos determina-

dos.

El Sistema de Clinómetro permite adaptar cual-

quier rehabilitación protética en el sector de los

dientes anteriores a las características faciales, p.

ej.:

_ Carillas

_ Coronas

_ Prótesis dentales fijas y removibles

_ Prótesis completas

_ Prótesis implantosoportadas

Asimismo, se puede utilizar también para la plani-

ficación y supervisión de tratamientos ortodónti-

cos e intervenciones de cirugía maxilar.

Con el Clinómetro de consulta el odontólogo

determina el ángulo ideal de los dientes desde la

perspectiva frontal. Este ángulo, el ángulo estéti-

co, es anotado y comunicado al laboratorio junto

con la hoja de pedido. El protésico dental acopla el

Clinómetro de laboratorio al articulador y se

orienta por las líneas de referencia verticales del

Clinómetro de laboratorio “programado” al mon-

tar los dientes anteriores.

Incluso si solamente se envía un rodete de cera o

un modelo de la rehabilitación provisional al pro-

tésico dental como referencia para la posición

dentaria, el Clinómetro de laboratorio es de gran

utilidad. Al montar el rodete de cera o el modelo

de la rehabilitación provisional en el articulador, el

Clinómetro de laboratorio permite determinar los

ángulos correctos de los dientes y cantos incisa-

les. Esta información numérica está a disposición

siempre que se quiera con la ayuda del Clinómetro

de laboratorio.

OBSERVACIÓN:

El producto solamente lo deberá utilizar perso-

nal especializado instruido al respecto.

4.3 Volumen de entrega

El sistema consta de los dos componentes Clinó-

metro de consulta (219950) y Clinómetro de labo-

ratorio (219950C).

4.4 Declaración de conformidad

La declaración de conformidad la puede obtener,

a petición, del fabricante.

5 Utilización

5.1 Clinómetro de consulta

La determinación del ángulo estético puede reali-

zarse o bien durante la fase de planificación de la

prótesis dental o durante cualquier sesión de la

rehabilitación protética.

5.1.1 Montaje en el arco facial Artex

El Clinómetro de consulta se utiliza junto con el

arco facial Artex:

▷Desmontar el apoyo glabelar y el soporte articu-

lar del arco facial Artex.

Si se pretende restituir los dientes anterio-

res con coronas o una prótesis fija, es

aconsejable medir el ángulo estético antes

de tallar los dientes. Con el Clinómetro de

consulta se puede controlar entonces la

orientación de los cantos incisales tallados

o bien adecuar la rehabilitación provisio-

nal.

▷ Introducir hasta el tope el Clinómetro en la guía

cónica del alojamiento para el soporte articular

del arco facial Artex.

5.1.2 Aplicación en el paciente

▷Colocar al paciente el arco facial Artex equipado

con el Clinómetro. Al realizar esto, soportar en

su centro con un dedo el arco facial para evitar

que éste se incline lateralmente.

Para determinar el ángulo estético, el

paciente y el odontólogo se deberán colo-

car de frente. No es posible determinar el

ángulo estético si el paciente va sentado o

tendido en el sillón dental. Para mayor

comodidad para el paciente fijar siempre

primero el Clinómetro al arco facial y colo-

cárselo entonces al paciente.

▷Orientar verticalmente el Clinómetro de modo

que la línea transversal superior de la placa

quede a la misma altura de las pupilas.

Por lo regular la línea transversal inferior que-

dará entonces a la altura del plano oclusal.

▷Girar el tornillo moleteado de modo que la línea

horizontal superior de la placa del Clinómetro

coincida con la línea interpupilar.

(en dirección C = clockwise, o sea, en sentido de

las agujas del reloj,

en dirección A =anti-clockwise, o sea, en sentido

contrario a las agujas del reloj).

Al realizar esto se tendrán en cuenta además

otras características de la cara:

▪ Por lo general, la línea interpupilar es la línea

directriz.

▪ El eje de la nariz (línea media facial), la línea

labial y la forma externa de la cara se deberán

considerar en la impresión general.

▪ En esta fase el plano oclusal de los dientes

existentes desempeña un papel de menor

importancia.

▪ Se aconseja inclinar excesivamente hacia

ambos lados la placa e irse aproximando pau-

latinamente con movimiento de vaivén al

ángulo estético ideal.

▷Retirar la placa del Clinómetro del arco facial y

leer el valor del ángulo determinado/registrado

en la escala, p. ej. “1 ° A” = 1 grado hacia la

izquierda.

▷Anotar este valor en la ficha del paciente y en la

hoja de pedido para el laboratorio.

La placa del Clinómetro no lleva una línea

central específica. El ángulo visual se

puede elegir de forma que una de las

líneas longitudinales transcurra por entre

los dos incisivos centrales (ver figura 7).

Por lo regular, las líneas adyacentes gene-

ralmente discurren por encima de los dien-

tes incisivos centrales y laterales, así

como los caninos.

5.2 Clinómetro de laboratorio

5.2.1 Transferencia del modelo al articulador

Artex

Articular el modelo del maxilar superior con el

registro del arco facial. Es vital articular el modelo

con referencia craneal/axial. Esto se puede lograr

adaptando directamente el arco facial al articula-

dor, o bien, a través de la transferencia indirecta

por medio del soporte o mesa de transferencia.

5.2.2 Montaje del Clinómetro de laboratorio

sobre el articulador Artex

▷Ajustar en el Clinómetro de laboratorio el valor

del ángulo determinado por el odontólogo, p. ej.

1° A:

▪ Girar el botón grande en la dirección deseada

(aquí en la dirección A) y hacer coincidir la

línea de referencia cero con la primera línea.

▪ Bloquear en esa posición con la pequeña con-

tratuerca para evitar un desajuste fortuito.

▷Sustituir en el articulador Artex la espiga incisal

estándar por la espiga angular.

La espiga angular permite ver libremente el

modelo por el frente.

▷Aflojar la espiga de apoyo en la parte superior

del articulador.

▷ Insertar el Clinómetro de laboratorio en la

ranura posterior hasta hacer el tope con la

rosca de la espiga de apoyo.

La espiga de apoyo actúa como bisagra para el

Clinómetro de laboratorio.

▷Aflojar el tornillo de fijación del soporte de la

espiga incisal lo suficiente hasta poder deslizar

el Clinómetro debajo el tornillo de fijación hasta

hacer tope con la rosca.

Es forzoso realizar el registro facial con el

arco facial Artex para lograr que los mode-

los sean transferidos al articulador con

idéntica relación a la registrada en el

paciente. Únicamente si los puntos de

referencia son coincidentes es posible

transferir a los dientes anteriores de

forma efectiva el ángulo estético determi-

nado.

Embalaje

En cuestiones de embalaje, el fabricante colabora

con los sistemas de reutilización específicos de

cada país garantizando así un reciclaje óptimo.

Todos los materiales de embalaje empleados son

ecológicos y reciclables.

Para girar hacia fuera (deslizar lateral-

mente) el Clinómetro aflojar tan solo leve-

mente el tornillo de la espiga de apoyo y el

de fijación.
