• More males ride than females and the imbalance is more pronounced with age

• 55% of Women On Bikes Survey2 respondents indicated that they don’t have access to safe on road facilities

• 52% of women ride on their own, and would like access to women who ride at the same level3

• 1 in 5 women felt uncomfortable riding outdoors due dealing with traffic and the perception for the required apparel3
