Slidell ServicesWe Repair ALL Makes, Models and Styles of gearboxes

Scope includes all makes, models and styles of gear drives We have repaired gearboxes over 30 tons in size.

All housings are tolerance checked and restored to OE specifications or replaced with a remanufactured housing.

Gearing can be re-cut, reground or flipped to utilize unworn profiles. New gearing manufactured to replace broken or damaged parts. Capabilities include producing new gears up to 2 meters in diameter.

Shafts are chrome plated and ground to specification to address worn seal and bearing journals. Damaged shafts can be fabricated on-site to support emergency repair needs.

All bearings, seals and fasteners are replaced with manufacturer-specified parts or equivalent.

Lubrication systems inspected to verify operation. Upgrades available to address problems such as excessive heat or component wear.

Critical components are Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI) to ensure no cracks or faults, ensuring the drive will operate to OE standards.

Drives are assembled to AGMA and ABMA standards, in our climate-controlled facility by highly trained technicians.

Each unit is no-load dyno tested and certified to be free of excessive vibration or seal leaks, while monitoring bearing temperatures.

Dana Brevini provides a standard warranty of 12 months and up to 3 years depending on the scope of the repair performed.

As the OEM for both Brevini and PIV brand product, we have genuine factory parts available in our extensive inventory including all service components.

Custom gear drives for special-purpose applications or as a drop-in replacement for an obsolete unit.

Additional Options:

Maintenance training at your facility or ours to learn maintenance procedures for your drives to keep them running reliably.

Long-term storage capabilities. Either at your facility or within our climate-controlled warehouse. We can equip your spare drive to be like new and ready when you need it.
