API 618 Natural Gas Compressor
Our balanced-opposed compressors can operate at speeds up to 1200 rpm.
Designed to API 618, these heavy-duty units are expressly made for continuous
duty in the Oil & Gas industry.
They are designed for direct drive with reciprocating engines or electric motors,
creating a compact, easy-to-ship, and low-vibration compression package. These
machines are available in two different frame sizes, as well as a fully balanced
version that is particularly well suited for offshore applications.

Axial compressors are used for very high flow and low-pressure applications. Our

HE-S Compressor
Our HE-S is the only reciprocating compressor capable of 750 rpm gas-engine
direct drive at 9 MW and above. Not only is it powerful, but also suitable for both
high and low-speed API 618 and API 11P applications, and is an ideal solution for
API 618 moderate speed service. It's available with 2, 4, or 6 throws, 15300 kW
nominal max power at full speed (6 throws) and 800 rpm max speed.

Horizontally Split
Horizontally split compressors are used primarily for low and medium pressure

Integrally Geared
Integrally Geared Compressors are used in several refinery, petrochemical
CCS/EOR and applications, either for low/high-flow, or low/high pressure
conditions. This type of compressor has from one to four high speed pinions and
the bull gear can be driven directly by an electric motor or by a turbine (gas or
steam). One or two impellers, open or closed, tridi or bidi-mensional type can be
mounted on each pinion-shaft. Optimal impeller speed and the ability to inter-cool
compression stages guarantee very high efficiency. A large variety of gases can be
handled by this compressor line with appropriate construction materials, seal and
control systems.

Integrated Compressor LineGE's Integrated Compressor Line (ICL) is designed to achieve balance between
productivity and the environment, power demands and space limitations,
performance goal and maintenance requirements, reliability and availability.
ICL is based on more than 15 years of proven technologies and makes significant
improvements over conventional units using gas turbine drivers. ICL consists of
centrifugal compressors directly driven by high-speed electric motors.

LDPE Hyper Compressors
Series "P" hyper compressors are specifically designed for ethylene compression
in Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) production plants. Delivery pressures range
up to 3500 bar, the highest pressure required in any industrial process. The most
severe operating conditions require a unique architecture for both the crankcase
and cylinders: special rods ("plungers") are used as single acting pistons. Most
plungers are made of solid tungsten carbide, a material that is extremely hard and
wear resistant, but extremely brittle as well.

Oil-Free Screw Compressors
For applications where process operating conditions vary or where process gas
composition is unpredictable, oil-free rotary screw compressors offer the best of
both worlds - the reliability and pulsation-free rotary motion of centrifugal
compressors. Screw compressors are also the best choice for applications in which
no other compressor can operate economically. They can easily handle dirty,
polymer forming process gases and process gases with entrained liquids.

Overhung Single Stage
Overhung compressors are mainly used as boosters in petrochemical applications
or for recycle in polypropylene and polyethylene plants. The single-stage overhung
configuration is simple and easy to maintain. Almost all gases can be handled by
this type of compressor with appropriate construction materials and seal systems.

Pipeline
These compressors are specifically designed for pipeline compression stations.
They are used for low and medium pressure ratio pipeline service and in recycle
applications such as those performed in methanol plants, etc.

integral with the casing, and end covers at both ends. Dry gas seals are normally used; floating bushing oil seals are also available

Roots* API 617 OIB Centrifugal Compressor
Roots OIB single-stage centrifugal compressors feature an overhung impeller
design, suitable for a wide range of options. The OIB is suitable for a variety of
constant speed or variable speed drivers including electric motors and steam
turbines.

Roots* API 617 Type H Centrifugal Compressor
Roots horizontally split multi-stage compressor provides efficient and reliable
operation while offering easy access for maintenance. A choice of impeller
materials along with a variety of sealing arrangements allows this design to apply
to air or process gas applications. The multi-stage design offers low tip speeds
extending blower life and offering low total cost of ownership.

Roots* API-617 and API-672 IGCH Centrifugal Compressor
The Roots Model IGCH Integral Gear Compressors are a full range of economical
solutions to handle air and gas compression applications under API-617 and API-
672 specifications.
The IGCH features the options for both inlet guide vanes and discharge diffuser
vanes for optimum performance. The IGCH can be fitted with different seals to fit
the application from air to gas service. The IGCH impeller and casing can have
custom materials of construction to meet the requirements of the application

The Roots turbo blower is a compact, highly efficient integral motor drive compressor

Air-Cooled Heat ExchangersFor more than 50 years, GE has served the oil and gas industry in the design and manufacture of air-cooled heat exchangers.
