Clubs…
One of the keys to education is enjoyment – whether that be trying new challenges or extending existing skills and knowledge.
The aim of these clubs is very much to promote enjoyment and learning in equal measure. We are building upon the shared enthusiasms of teachers and students in a co-operative enterprise that we hope will lead to personal successes and a sense of independence in learning.
Our Clubs Booklet therefore includes a variety of different opportunities: from classroom based revision (especially for our Year 11 students) and catch up sessions, to sporting activities via chances to get involved in public speaking, science experiments, 3D design, creative writing, robot programming, choir and much more.
*As some of our clubs are seasonal, we update this information three times per year.

3D Design
Time: Tuesday after school and 3pm - 4.30pm Teacher: Mr Kelly and Mr Ward
Room: 28
This club is for all years to experiment with materials and tools in the workshop. We are happy to provide left over wood for students to make things with however, if they have a more adventurous project in mind, we would ask politely for them to source their own materials. Some students in the past have made bird boxes, tables and planters. It is a fun club where students can enjoy making things. Many of GCSE students attend the club so it is a great place for younger students to come along as they will receive friendly expert help from the more experienced students.
