There are 20 million street children in India. Over 59 million children in India have no access to school.
About 60 million Indian children under the age of 6 live bethe poverty line.
46% of children under 5 are malnourished
Today there are over 11 million abandoned babies in the cninety percent of these are little girls.
Orphanages are filled with abandoned children and milliomore wander the streets just doing what they can to surv

Objective
To study how individuals behave in a group. More specific objective was to go for a constructive activity
socially deprived or vulnerable group.
Help the participants to learn more about group dynamics
Help in the mental development of those deprived children
make them feel to be an integral part of our society. Encourage them to participate in various skill building an
activities.

Visit to the organization for interaction with the children
A drawing competition conducted.
Awarding the winners and also giving chocolates and cak
participants to encourage them.Taking note of the learning and the outcome.

Activity Day
The total number of children staying in the organization are 92.
We selected a sample from the entire lot and the classification was done on the basisactivity participants were restricted to children from Standard-2 to Standard-7.
The smaller children were involved in story-telling and ryhme recitation.
The other group of participants were instructed to draw a scenery. In order not to rewe also encouraged them to draw something unique and allowed them to deviate fromentioned.
A total duration of 20 minutes was given to complete the task.
The teachers and other staffs were involved to judge the drawings by the participan
Finally one best drawing was given a token of appreciation while all other participaparticipation gift( chocolates).
