GDC TECHNICS TRIPLES CAPACITY, COMPLETES INTERNAL CAPABILITIES DEVELOPMENT, CONTINUES TO EXPAND ITS GLOBAL PRESENCE AND FURTHERS ITS LEAD IN THE 787
DREAMLINER MODIFICATION MARKET BY WINNING ITS THIRD CONTRACT

GDC Technics announced winning its third Boeing B787 cabin modification contract making it the industry leader with regards to modifying next generation aircraft.
The Company also announced that it is continuing to expand its global presence and expand its USA operations into a new 80,000 square meter (850,000 ft2) facility located at Fort Worth, Texas. In addition, the Company announced that its 20 million USD internal capabilities development and restructuring program has been completed on time.
“It has been two years since we acquired GDC Technics; during these two years we made substantial investments in our operations, facilities, manufacturing capabilities, manpower and we drastically expanded our engineering and certifications capabilities enabling us to develop leading edge solutions that benefit our customers” said GDC Technics General Partner Mohammed Alzeer. “In addition we developed and executed our global expansion strategy. Today, in addition to our San Antonio and Fort Worth facilities we exist in Europe, Middle East and next year we will be in Africa” Alzeer said.
GDC Technics continues its healthy growth on all fronts; during the last 6 months it received its fourth aircraft, a B777-‐300ER, and today GDC Technics announced winning its third B787 Dreamliner modification contract hence leading the industry in the number of B787 aircraft under modification and ensuring a continuously expanding engineering and production knowledge base on next generation aircraft.
“Winning our third B787 contract is a game changer as it involves developing a new prestigious first class cabin that integrates new cutting edge technologies with maximum luxury found only in VVIP aircraft and is testimony to the success of our strategy of focusing on next generation airplanes enabling us to maintain our lead in the B787 modification market while offering cutting edge innovative technologies to our customers; that explains how we were able to compete against some of the industry leaders and win” Alzeer said.
In March of this year GDC Technics signed a 25-‐year lease with the City of Fort Worth for the aircraft modifications facility. The company’s new 80,000 m2 Alliance Fort Worth (AFW) facility is state of the art in terms of design and capabilities; “with our success in market we have
outgrown our San Antonio facility so in order to accommodate our growing backlog we had to expand our facilities. The new AFW facility ensures that we can execute our operations more efficiently and can support our future growth”.
