What is Hempcrete?

-Hemp -is a fast growing agricultural crop which is mainly grown for its tensile strength natural fibre which grows in the stem around the wood core of the plant.

This woody core of plant is chopped up into small sizes and mixed with lime, water and a small quantity of cement to form a bio-composite mix called Hempcrete,

Hemp-is a much more superior building material due to the fact that it’s a very strong, lightweight and breathable material.

Hemp-is used also in the automotive, textile , food and livestock Industries

What Hempcrete is Used For?

- Hemcrete -is a building material that incorporates hemp into its mixture.

-Hempcrete- is usually placed in Formwork between the structural framing to act as the insulation and cladding material for the wall. The frame is typically timber, but could be cold- formed steel studs or concrete.

-Hempcrete- is very versatile as it can be used for wall insulation, flooring, roofing and more.

-Hempcrete , is fire-proof, water-poof, and rot-proof as long as it’s above ground.

Lime Binder And Portland Cement

• -Lime is a cementations material created from firing limestone and has been used in building practices for thousands of years

• Over time, the lime looks to turn back to a rock, so the material becomes harder and harder until it’s petrified completely

• This means the wall will lasts thousands a years compared to normal building materials

• Mineral Filler Dry 60 : Is a high breathability smoothing process, adhesions and elasticity based,

• Natural hydraulic binder, with maximum particle size o.5 mm.

• Its high breathability, flexibility and adhesion makes the product particularly suitable for installation and to shaving of breathable insulation panels of wood mineralized,calcium, silica,cork,rockwool ad for all those surfaces that need of a particular level of breathability

• The dough should be consumed within 2 hours after preparation

REVET 33- Special Glass Fiber Primed Anti-alkaline

• REVET 33 -drowning and smoothing in sharp corners

• Reinforces door frames and other openings, provided it is covered entirely By Shaving

• REVET 33- absorbs and distributes the stresses caused by the withdrawal of smoothing during drying, and by the movements caused by changes in temperature and humidity

• The stress distribution across the façade avoids the formation of cracks

The XILOPAINT is a Siloxane Paint Water - Repellent

• The XILOPAINT- is a paint-micro coating with excellent characteristics of resistance to weather conditions

• the appropriate selection of various micro grain sizes and types of dyes, fillers, giving the product a high hiding power even on very dark backgrounds.

• the XILOPAINT is very suitable for the finishing and pressurised concrete structures exposed

• it can be used on particularly breathable finishes like macro-porous plaster and wet anti-moist.

XILOTEX MEDIO – Is Another Type of Coating

• XILOTEX MEDIO- is a wall covering siloxane, ant carbonation, floated in a fine-grained, highly breathable but also waterproof thanks to the lattice structure of the film-forming and non-siloxane resins that are located at its interior, perfect color maintenance over time, is very elastic, impact resistant and abrasion.

• been a thick coating, it is recommend not to stop the application on walls whole in order to avoid the perception of different color.

• the finishing is carried out with plastic spatula with uniform circular motion, to obtain a spatulated surface.

ISOLGUM-Sheath liquid for horizontal surfaces

• It maintains over time the flexibility and plasticity characteristics thanks to the quality of the resins and the particularly high percentage of plasticizers incorporated in the formulation. It has been tested with great success in the most strict conditions.

• Works very well in marine locations constantly subjected to salt corrosion, in mountainous areas subject to continuous temperature changes, and in highly polluted industrial areas

• The application can be carried out by brush to achieve a smooth surface, or sponge roller to obtain a corrugated surface

Flex Dry A+B – Special anti- carbonation mortar

• Malta two-component is a highly elastic cement- based mortar suitable for the protection and the waterproofing of concrete supports ,tiles and plasters.

Excellent in alkaline environments or conditions, where surfaces are subject to minor structural movements.

When mixed, the product is easily applied with a stainless steel spatula with a thickness not exceeding 2 mm. Subsequently the fibreglass, type REVET 33, is laid

After drying about 4-6 hours, the second layer of product is applied until a homogeneous surface with an overall thickness of about 3-4 mm. is achieved.
