Global Business Leadership (GBL) Camp in Korea Chungnam National University, Korea 1-15 January 2013 Introduction The purpose of the 2013 Global Business Leadership (GBL) Camp in Korea is to help students acquire skills and knowledge needed to pursue communication and business opportunities that span national and cultural borders. To achieve this purpose, the 2013 GBL camp in Korea combines traditional instructional methods with travel and training abroad. Prerequisites and Course Students must have attained at least 30 credits at BUUIC before the start of the program in order to participate. All students will be required to enroll in 952445 Effective Global Communication (3 credits hours). Name of the course: 952445 Effective Global Communication 3 credits Course Description: A study of cross cultural application for organizational management. A study trip, exchange of students and work experiences in foreign countries to gain competency in effective communication. Grading will be issued by “S” or “U” Flights and Dates Flight costs are included travel insurance and extracurricular activities in Korea, and flight will be arranged by the instructor. Tentative itinerary: 1 January 2013 : OZ742 BKK - ICN 23.40 - 6.50 +1 (2 Jan) 15 January 2013 : OZ741 ICN - BKK 18.20 - 22.10 Airport to airport travel time will be about 5 hours, and Korea is two hours ahead of Thailand. Students need to return with the instructor to begin the Spring semester on 16 January. The College allows you to miss some classes in the first week of Spring semester. Accommodations Students will be housed in the campus dormitory in Chungnam National University. Classes will meet in classrooms provided by Chungnam University. All the accommodation costs and travel in Korea are covered by Chungnam National University (under two universities collaboration). Cost and coverage The total program cost is 30,000 baht for the 14 days of the program (no refundable). These cost pay for and arrange flights, ground transportation to and from the Bangkok airport, insurance, material for extracurricular activities and performance, and some meals. Students should also budget for an estimated 5,000 baht for extra meals and 5,000 baht for spending money. Students may also need to budget additional funds for a passport (for students who do not have a passport), and visa for foreign students. Date of application: Please submit an application form and a page of essay about the benefits of joining GBL camp 2013 by 1 August to 24 September 2012 at Dean’s office 2nd floor ). You can get the application form in soft file from Ms. Pitchaya. Instructor: Mr.Parinya Nakpathom , who is a full-time instructor at International College . His major is Tourism and Hotel Management. He will take a role of supervisor during this trip. The date of interviewing: 12 October 2012, 1.00-3.00 p.m at Room IC 206. Date of Payment Please submit your clear copy of valid passport and payment: 30,000 baht by 19 October 2012 to Miss Chunchira, Finance officer of BUUIC, 1st floor, Dean’s office, BUUIC.

Introduction
