“Multi-Family Recycling Support”

WHEREAS: the Associated Student Government strives to promote the university’s Common Experience theme; and

WHEREAS: the San Marcos City Council is currently considering mandating that all apartment complexes provide recycling; and

WHEREAS: this would provide a service to both the students and residents of this town;

BE IT RESOLVED: that the Associated Student Government give formal support for this initiative; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: that we also take it upon ourselves to help educate and disseminate information about this initiative by word of mouth as well as any free social media; and

BE IT FURTHER RESLOVED: that this resolution be forwarded to ASG Advisor Kathy Weiser, Dean of Students Dr. Margarita Arellano, Vice President for Student Affairs Dr. Joanne Smith, and President Dr. Denise Trauth, and the San Marcos City Council upon passage.
