Family Christmas Dinner
Join the Town of Irricana’s Community Services Board Saturday, December 10th
for a Family Christmas Dinner Time: 4:30pm—7:30pm
Location: Irricana Community Hall
Everyone is welcome to come together at a time that promotes community. If you know of someone who may be in need at this time please obtain a ticket for them and invite them to attend. Dinner is provided Free of Charge.

Snow Clearing & Meter Reading
With winter fast approaching, please remember the Town requires sidewalks be cleared within 24 hours of snowfall ceasing. Water meter reads are done by the Public Works Department and require access to your wa-ter/sewer pucks. Please assist us by keeping the access to these small black pucks located outside your home as clear as possible from larger snow drifts. Thank you for your cooperation.
Emergency Route Snow Clearing Please note that Emergency Route parking restrictions are in force from November 1st to March 31st. The Emergency Route will assist snow clearing. If you live on an emergency route - 2nd Street, 1st Ave., 6th Street and Madison Drive to 6th Street this will affect street parking. Residents on these streets shall not park on the even side of the highway from Sundays through Wednesday of every week between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and residents living in odd civic house numbers living on the emergency route shall not park on the odd side of the highway from Wednesdays through Saturdays of every week between the hours of 7:00 am and 5:00 pm. INFORMATION Town Payments
Internet and telephone banking is available for tax & utility pay-ments. Contact your financial institution for instructions to set up your accounts. The Municipal Office accepts credit card (visa/MasterCard), debit, cheques, cash, and for your convenience there is also a drop slot in the front door of the Municipal building. (222 2nd Street). There will be a 2% fee for credit card payments.
Verify Tax / Utility Account Numbers
Please update your online banking account information. Be aware account numbers may change, verify account numbers on your tax/utility bill prior to making bill payments. A reminder to please put your account numbers on your cheques.
Moving Information
Please contact the Town Office with possession dates and mailing address changes when moving. If you have new renters it is im-perative that you please contact the office to update information so we are able to get the appropriate water meter reads.
The tenant can receive a copy of the utility bill if the property owner completes the Utilities Rental Agreement Regarding For-warded Utility Bills as per Utility Penalty Bylaw 04:2016
Utility Collection Policies
Utility Penalty Bylaw 04:2016 was passed September 19, 2016. Utility billing notices which are more than one billing cycle behind will receive notice that service will be disconnected if payment is not received within 10 business days. Customers who are facing disconnection of services will have the option to discuss a pay-ment plan (which must be adhered to) with the CAO.

Traveling Tales and Tunes This is a high quality preschool literacy program that offers children, birth to age five and their parent/caregiver an opportunity to enjoy songs, rhymes and stories in a lively environment. Irricana: Thursdays, 10:00- 10:45am Jan 12- Feb 16, 2017 There is no cost.
Tools for Blended Families (Couples workshop) This is an educational workshop to help couples increase their awareness of their blended family issues and the communication tools needed to manage their blended family life more effectively. Intake and Registration required (registration is ongoing). Cost is $50/couple (Sliding Fee Scale Available.)

Rural Intake Services
Rural Intake Services are available in Beiseker, Crossfield, and Irricana on a first come, first serve basis. Residents in need of informa-tion, assistance with government applications, referrals to community services and access to Community Links programming, including Parent Consultations, Family/Domestic Violence Supports, Counselling and Seniors Services, can connect with the intake staff.
