The following memo summarizes the results of a poll conducted by Wilson ResearchStrategies for the Gary Nodler for Congress campaign on April 28-29, 2010.
The results indicate that Gary Nodler is well-positioned in his campaign to be the nextCongressma n from Missouris 7 th congressional district.
Key Observations
1) Gary Nodler has been successful in building his name ID throughout Missouris 7 th congressional district
Almost one in three (31%) GOP primary voters view Gary Nodler favorably, compared to fewer than one in ten (7%) who view him unfavorably.
o Almost six in ten (57%) GOP primary voters in the 7 th district have now heardof Gary Nodler.
2) Gary Nodler is currently leading the eight-way GOP primaryNodler receives 19% on the initial ballot, compared to 17% for Jack Goodman, 16%for Billy Long, and seven percent for Darrell L. Moore.
o None of the other GOP candidates garners more than two percent.
Voters who know Gary Nodler are voting for him. Nodler leads with 32% among thosewho have heard of him and 41% among those who know enough about him to havean opinion.
3) When looking at just the decided vote, Gary Nodler leads by three points with 29%.

ConclusionsWhile the GOP primary in Missouris 7 th congressional district is still anyones to win, GaryNodler is in the drivers seat with a narrow lead on the ballot . With sufficient resources, he iswell-placed to win the Republican nomination.
MethodologyWilson Research Strategies conducted a study of likely general election voters in Missouris 7 th Congressional District utilizing Registration Based Sampling methodology. Respondentswere contacted by phone via a live telephone operator interview on April 28-29, 2010. Thestudy had a sample size of n=400 general election voters. The margin of error is equal to+4.9% in 95 out of 100 cases.
