Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder

Join us for our new outdoor Parent and Child Nature Trail class, beginningthis Spring.

Each week, we gather in the lobby at 9:00 am. The morn-ing begins with “free play time” during which the childrenare encouraged to explore the natural world around them.After building up an appetite we pause to enjoy a picnic offreshly baked bread, organic apples, and warm tea.Following snack we transition to our seasonally themedcircle time. Onward we go to the nature trail for a leisurelywalk, taking time to observe and make new discoveriesalong the path. Each week we visit and care for the fairy garden by planting, watering and building fairy houses.Our time ends with a goodbye verse and we exit throughthe school.
