Motivation

Imaging and spectral analysis of gamma-ray data

Diffuse & point sources „Model-free“ (use image statistical properties only) One-shot, self-consistent :

all sources and diffuse simultaneously

Sources can be as weak as desired (unresolved populations)

Formal, objective – no manual intervention.
