Galfar Engineering wins $383.19million worth of projects in 9 months
Under the guidance of Dr P Mohamed Ali, Galfar Engineering and Contracting has won $383.19 worth of projects in a period of 9 months. The recent win includes a project to turn a stretch of the Nizwa-Ibri road into a dual carriageway which was valued at $72.8million. Phase two of an ongoing project, the work involves increasing a stretch of road from Jibrin-Ibri. Jibrin-Ibri segment is the second part of 127km-long Nizwa-Ibri road and the dualisation project is vital for ensuring safety of commuters in the long route. The project involves conversion to two-lane dual carriageway between Nizwa and Ibri.
During this 9 months Galfar Engineering and Contracting, the company pioneered by Dr P Mohamed Ali, has also finished Hasik-Shuwaimiya road project, which cuts across peak hills and virgin terrains, covering a total distance of approximately 85 kilometers in Dhofarregion. The have also been awarded Mirbat-Taqa road project. The company is also expecting to win some more projects in the coming months
