Adam, Abraham, David, Moses, and all saints saved by faith in the one who was to be revealed.

All believers and saints in the New Testament (the Church) saved by faith in the one who was revealed

The Work of ChristThe Work of Christ

•Sufficiency - the adequacy of Christ’s work on the cross. Our faith needs to be in a savior whose work on the cross was sufficient before God. This has to do with the quality of the sacrifice.

•Efficacy - the ability to produce the desired result. If Christ’s work on the cross were not effective it would be completely ridiculous for the Father to have sent the Son.
