Depending on your arrival time there may be some free time to settle in and have lunch on your own at the hotel restaurant or nearby. Upon arrival, your trip host will greet you at the hotel and assist your check in. Once all guests have arrived there will be a short meet and greet to get to know your fellow travelers. In the afternoon we will take a guided walking tour of Guayaquil to include parts of downtown, the famous Malecon, and Cerro Santa Ana with its church and lighthouse on top. Colorful walkways and side streets surround this hill that offers a great view of the entire city from the top of the lighthouse. Later, we proceed to an included welcome dinner near the water at a Malecon 2000 area restaurant (drinks charged separate) Overnight Ramada Guayaquil (or similar downtown hotel) Day 2: Guayaquil to Santa Cruz (B,L) Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to GYE airport and fly to Santa Cruz Island (Baltra) After arrival, we pay the park entry fee, cross the canal on a ferry and then take private transport across Santa Cruz Island to the town of Puerto Aroya. We will begin touring right away as we have scheduled stops along the way to tour the highlands of this island. These include the Gemelos craters, El Chato ranch (giant turtles), Lava tunnels we can walk inside, and more. Lunch included on the tour (drinks charged separate). Arrive to our hotel to check in. Rest of day and evening free. Dinner on your own. Your trip host will take anyone interested on an excursion to the night fish market where the street is closed to traffic and the fresh catches of the day are cooked and served to you at dinner tables set up outside next to each restaurant. This is one of the best places in the Galapagos to get great seafood and try some local flavor. Overnight at Las Palmeras Hotel (or similar)

Day 1 Saturday Oct 29th, 2016: Arrive to Guayaquil, Ecuador (D) Arrive to the airport and transfer to hotel. Day 3: Santa Cruz- Pinzon/Daphne or Gordon Rocks (B,L) Breakfast at hotel. Today you choose between the Pinzon/Daphne 3 stop snorkel tour with a chance to swim and snorkel with turtles, penguins, sharks and colorful marine life. There is also a stop at a beautiful beach with time for relaxing and swimming and lunch. Or the Gordon Rocks diving tour for the certified scuba diver that offers one of the best dive sites in the Galapagos with chances to see hammerhead sharks, reef sharks, manta rays, giant turtles, and an assortment of macro and micro wildlife. Included- 2 dives, all gear needed, snacks and coffee. (please add $40 to the total tour price if choosing the dive tour). Note: Lunch included on Pinzon/Daphne tour but not on the Gordon Rocks diving tour. After tour is over, return to Puerto Aroya and rest of day is free. Your trip host will take those interested on an afternoon guided outing to Tortugua bay which has one of the nicest beaches in the Galapagos and a beautiful nature walk through endemic vegetation to get there. We can often see marine Iguanas here swimming in the surf and will have a chance to swim in a calm bay or explore the almost 2 miles of white sand beaches here. Kayaks (extra charge) are also available for rent on the second beach. Evening free. Dinner on your own. Overnight at Las Palmeras Hotel (or similar) Day 4: Santa Cruz- Seymour or Bartolome (B,L) After breakfast at the hotel, you will choose from one of the following two tours. There is a Seymour North Island Tour, the most famous island for birds (Boobies and Frigates) and wildlife. The tour includes a boat cruise, a guided nature walk on Seymour North, and a visit to a pristine undeveloped beach and nearby lagoon. Or a Bartolome Island Tour to explore some of the most quintessential landscapes of the Galapagos on foot and also a snorkeling stop. The tour includes a boat cruise, walking tour on Bartolome, and snorkeling. Lunch included on either tour. After returning from the tours, later this afternoon your trip host will take those interested to the Darwin center to the museum and giant tortoise breeding center. Evening free. Dinner on your own. Overnight at Las Palmeras Hotel (or similar)

Day 5: Santa Cruz to Isabella (B) Breakfast at hotel. AM departure to Isabella via speedboat (2 hrs). Please note: You will be able to leave most of your luggage at this hotel’s storage as we will be back after 2 nights on Isabella island). After the crossing to Isabella, we arrive and check in to the hotel. We will have a short sightseeing excursion of the town of Puerto Villamil. After, there will be time for you to have lunch on your own. In the early afternoon we will proceed on a 2-3 hour Tintoneras Bay tour. This tour includes swimming with the chance to swim- possibly with Sea lions, a boat ride, snorkeling, and a short hike over easy terrain to see a variety of volcanic geology and land animals such as Iguanas. Later, your trip host can take those interested for optional swimming and snorkeling to the crystal waters of nearby Concha Perla (Pearl Shell Lagoon- with more chances to possibly swim with Penguins and Sea lions, etc) after the tour and/or play a game of beach volleyball by the main pier (sometimes the sea lions get involved!) Rest of afternoon/evening free. Dinner on your own. Overnight at La Casa de Marita (or similar) Day 6: Isabella- The Tunnels Tour, Fun Hike or Bike Ride (B,L) Breakfast at hotel. Today we will take the tunnels tour via boat. The Tunnels are lava bridges and tunnels along the coast if Isabella that we can visit by boat. This tour offers the opportunity to walk around on these formations and also to swim and snorkel up close with giant sea turtles, seahorses, and sometimes sharks and penguins. We will have lunch on the boat and return back to the hotel around 2pm. Later this afternoon, your will have the chance to do an easy hike or mountain bike ride through an area named Las Humedades in the national park and along the coast. At the turnaround point there is a great viewpoint you can climb up to and also a memorial called La Muralla de Las Lagrimas (wall of tears) we will explore. Rest of day/evening free. Dinner on your own. Overnight at La Casa de Marita (or similar)

Day 7: Isabella- Volcano Hike- Return to Santa Cruz (B) Breakfast at hotel. This morning will we take private transport up to the highlands of Isabella to do the famous volcano trek (this 9 mile trek is rated as easy) and will allow us to walk alongside a giant crater over 5 miles wide and then into some unique volcanic terrain and superb 360 degree views. A guide will explain the geology as we go. Breaks for snacks and photos as needed. After the trek, we will return via private transport to the town where you can go back and change clothes and have lunch in town on your own. Afterward, we will depart via speedboat back to Santa Cruz and check back into our hotel for one last night. You can get the rest of your luggage out of the storage. Enjoy your last night in the Galapagos by enjoying the nightlife and restaurants of Puerto Ayora. Evening free and dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel Las Palmeras (or similar) Day 8: Santa Cruz- Free day (B,D) Breakfast at hotel. Today will be a free day to explore on your own, relax at the beaches, or take an optional excursion at extra cost. There are many optional tours available. Two suggestions are: 1. A day trip to visit the island of Floreana- full of mysterious history and nature tourism. 2. A day trip to Kicker Rock off the coast of San Cristobal island- beautiful rock formation with amazing diving and snorkeling This evening we will meet in the hotel lobby (time TBD) and head out for an included farewell dinner! Afterward, you may continue to enjoy your last evening at some of the nightlife spots in town. Overnight at hotel Las Palmeras (or similar) Day 9 Sunday Nov 6th, 2016: Depart Santa Cruz for home (B) Breakfast at hotel. Free time until transfer to the airport for the flight back to Guayaquil. “End of services” From GYE airport, you will connect to your self-booked intl flight back and be home by tonight.

Erik’s Adventures LLC Terms and Conditions- Galapagos Trip October 29-November 6th, 2016

Please read the Terms and Conditions very carefully. They outline the terms under which Erik’s Adventures,

LLC tours will operate and they limit our liabilities. These booking conditions will form part of your contract

with Erik's Adventures LLC, located at 6901 High Point Rd, Arena, WI 53503. Different terms and conditions

may apply as between you and any one of the hotels, car rental companies, cruise companies, trains, and

airlines, etc. associated with your itinerary.

RESERVATIONS, DEPOSITS & FINAL PAYMENTS:

A Deposit of minimum US$ 500 per person is required to proceed with your reservation. The balance of the

payment must be received no later than 6/29/16. If your tour includes a cruise, flight or luxury train booking

you may be required to pay a higher deposit towards the booking of these services.

If a reservation is made after 6/29/16, full payment is due at the time of confirmation of services.

**Flights between Guayaquil and the Galapagos Islands will be organized and purchased 4/29/16 for you.

Once these flights are purchased, your deposit is non- refundable should you need to cancel.

Any changes to the tour itinerary once finalized will result in a minimum charge of US$ 100 per person per

change.

CANCELLATION AND IMPORTANT DATES: All cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing.

Up until 4/29/16- Deposit is fully refundable

From 4/30/16 to 6/29/16- Full loss of $500 deposit

6/29/16- Final payment for balance of trip due (on or before this date)

From 6/30/16 until 7/29/16. 50% of your total tour price is refundable

From 7/30/16 until the departure of the trip- No refunds will be made for any reason.

No refund can be made for any tour accommodations, tour services or tour feature that you do not utilize. If

you should cancel while the tour is in progress no refund will be made for unused portions.

TRAVEL PROTECTION PLAN: We strongly recommend that you take a travel protection policy should there be

any unforeseen circumstances, which may lead to the cancellation of your tour. Erik’s Adventures, LLC can

assist with your travel protection plan so please check with us at the time of booking, and before making your

final payment. We work with a very reputable insurance company. To purchase insurance or simply inquire

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that all of his or her

visa and passport requirements are met. All participants must be in possession of a

passport valid for at least six months beyond the re-entry date in to the United States or

Canada with two or more blank pages. Visas and necessary vaccinations may be required for some or all of the

countries visited on your tour. Please check the visa requirements at the time of booking. As of 11/08/15- No

visa is needed (subject to change)

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: Health regulations for some countries visited on your tour may require proof of

inoculations and/or vaccination certificate; such certificate should be in your possession throughout the entire

tour. It is our recommendation that you consult your personal physician or Passport Health via the web at

www.passporthealthusa.com in regards to your itinerary and required inoculations. Erik’s Adventures, LLC, will

not be held liable if you do not have proper vaccinations / inoculations.

RESERVATION OF RIGHTS: Erik’s Adventures, LLC (when deemed necessary) reserves the right to: (1) cancel

any itinerary or any part of it (2) make any alteration to the itinerary (including but not limited to, alteration to

substitution of hotels), (3) Erik’s Adventures reserves the right to alter the itinerary if necessary due to safety

concerns, circumstances outside its control (i.e. worker strikes, weather, government, etc.). (4) Decline to

accept to retain any person as a tour passenger should such person’s health, mental or physical condition, in

the sole opinion of Erik’s Adventures, LLC- impede the operation of the tour for the other passengers. Tour

members are held responsible for being in sufficient good health to undertake the tour. If a passenger is asked

to leave while the tour is in progress, that person will be responsible for charges incurred on account of such

departure from the tour and/or their return to the USA.

RESPONSIBILITY – LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Erik’s Adventures, LLC and its associates act only as agents for

the owners and contractors providing means of transportation and other related services and shall not be or

become liable or responsible in any way in connection with such means of transportation or other services, or

for any loss, injury or damage to or in respect of any person or property howsoever caused or arising. Erik’s

Adventures, LLC does not control the operations of these agents and as a result CANNOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR

ANY PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR OTHER CLAIM which may occur as the result of any and/or all

of the following (1) the wrongful, the negligent or arbitrary acts or omissions on the part of the independent

supplier, agent, its employees or others who are not under the direct control or supervision of Erik’s

Adventures, LLC (2) defects or failures of any vessel, air craft, vehicle or other instrumentality which is under

the control of an independent supplier; or (3) loss, injury or damage to person, property or otherwise,

resulting directly or indirectly from any Acts God, dangers incident to the sea, fire, breakdown in machinery or

equipment, or wars (whether declared or not), hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, theist, pilferage,

medical epidemics, quarantines or customs regulation, defaults, delays or cancellations or alterations in

itinerary due to schedule changes, or from any causes beyond Erik’s Adventures, LLC control. (4) Further Erik’s

Adventures, LLC is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from insufficient or improperly issued passports,

visas or other legal documents.

(5) The Tour you are booking involves some inherent dangers and risks associated with the activities that make

up parts of the tour, and that it potentially may be hazardous.

By signing this document you expressly assume all known and unknown risks associated with this Tour,

including but not limited to: loss of or damage to my property; injury (including death);

and accidents. Erik’s Adventures is not liable for injury, sickness, or death that could

happen on tour or as a result of participating on the tour or any activity within the tour. Certain activities

carry a higher risk of injury than others and all participants entering into any activity do so on their own free

and assume all risks.

All coupons, vouchers, invoices, contracts and tickets issued by Erik’s Adventures LLC, are issued subject to the

terms and conditions.

DISCLAIMER: Please note that the tour information shown in your final itinerary may have changed by the

time you actually travel. While every effort is being made to ensure the accuracy of the itinerary at the time of

finalizing your tour, errors do occasionally occur. You must therefore check all details of your chosen holiday

arrangements, including price at the time the booking.

Travel Essentials Passport – Must be valid for 6 months after departure from Ecuador. Credit cards – Visa and Mastercard are most often accepted. Cash – Local Currency is US Dollars Personal medication Seasick medication Sunglasses – you might want your sunglasses to have a strap so you don’t lose them. Sunscreen – We suggest waterproof with at least SPF 30. You need to be careful, the sun is much stronger near the Ecuador. Toiletries – (toothbrush, toothpaste, razors, comb, etc.) Be sure to remove all the packaging from toiletries and do not dispose of them in the Galapagos. Take these items back with you to the mainland.
