Gajanana ----The happy god with the face of an elephant. Happy Vinayaka Chavithi Virtual Celebrations on August 21 st . Time for another celebration, time to welcome the Ganadhyaksha, the most loved and revered Lord Ganesha. Children from LKG to 10 th celebrated virtually. Art and Craft department initiated the celebrations by sharing and teaching the students alternate, eco-friendly methods to make Lord Ganesha at home. Innovative practices were shared with students, where they could make eco-friendly Lord Ganesha using clay, dough, turmeric, Maida, soap, paper Mache etc. On August 21 all the classes celebrated virtually. Celebrations included live interview sessions which included questions like Lord Ganesha's birth story, significance of idol and its worship, favourite food. Students also presented speeches, recitation of shlokas, sang devotional songs, played instrumental music, performed classical dance in praise of the god. Videos and power point presentation on the mythology and the rituals related to the elephant god were shared with the students.

and safety norms to be followed for the 10 days’ celebration.

As the government has also asked all of us to restrict our

celebrations to our home, it is essential in these COVID

times to follow all the safety norms to be safe and healthy.

Let us follow the safety practices and eco-friendly

celebrations to keep our selves and nature safe and healthy.
