• 6th Amendment to the Annexation Agreement • Sketch Plan
• March 2015 Presenting Schematic Development Plan for consideration
• MedImmune initiatives drive need to build Childcare facility • Gaithersburg is AstraZeneca’s North America R&D center of excellence • Great Place to Work Initiative
• Attract and retain the best staff • Provide amenities on par with peer organizations

Proposed Childcare Center for MedImmune Staff • Proposed Building
• Located on Meadows Parcel adjacent to main MedImmune building • 16,000-20,000 square feet building • 1 ½ stories from Orchard Ridge Drive facade; 2 stories on forest facade
• Facility accommodates MedImmune Employees’ Children • 180 enrollment (majority 0-6 years) • 40 staff support facility (provided by childcare vendor)
• Childcare is an accessory use for current campus • Supports existing staff in adjacent administrative & lab buildings • Meets requirements of 6th Amendment to the Annexation Agreement
