• Interoperability activity (led by Fokus)-Technical, main result: presented in joint paper on eChallenges 2009 Software Interoperability
Testing for Non-Professional Testers, Published in: eChallenges e-2009 Conference Proceedings, Paul Cunningham and Miriam Cunningham (Eds), IIMC International Information Management Corporation Ltd 2009, ISBN 978-1-905824-13-7
-Semantic: semantic mapping approach (FOKUS know-how) adopted by PSNC in semantic-based cross forge project migration PoC (proof-of-concept)
-Organisational: main results are „Development of guidelines for the implementation of organizational interoperability”
„Evaluation of guidelines for the implementation of organizational interoperability”It evaluates the guidelines for the implementation of organizational interoperability on a basis of a concrete scenario demonstrating how organizational interoperability can be implemented between the partners establishing a new QualiPSo Competence Centre and how this competence centre can achieve organizational interoperability with other competence centres or with members of the QualiPSo consortium to get the necessary consultancy from them.

To support FLOSS development and adoption.
Main goals:
• to improve FLOSS development productivity and quality, in particular through the usage of unique QualiPSo project results,
• to foster the adoption and developement of FLOSS,
• to support FLOSS based R&D&I initiatives.
QualiPSo CCs mission and main goalsQualiPSo CCs mission and main goals
QualiPSo CCs ServicesQualiPSo CCs Services
Minimum common set of QualiPSo services(two of three are mandatory)
• Factory Services - FLOSS project hosting
• Consulting Services - software development knowledge base, training and consulting
- QualiPSo results, software development best practices, FLOSS based solutions and FLOSS in general
• Labelling Services - QualiPSo Label indicates that OSS, OSS development process or resource have passed through QualiPSo Quality Process
-comprises training prior evaluation, consultancy and assessment
FOKUS QUALIPSO CCFOKUS QUALIPSO CC
• The mission: to foster OSS development and adoption.
• Currently specialized on consulting services, the portfolio of services and solutions will be quickly expanded and enriched over time.
• The Competence Center offers three different types of services: • An OSS developer platform (FOKUS Qualipso Factory)
BerliOS: http://www.berlios.de
• Consulting services (FOKUS Qualipso Consulting Services)
The FOKUS Qualipso Consulting Services helps to bridge the gap between open source and closed source products. A main contribution will be the demonstration of interoperability between different open source as well as open source and closed source implementations.
Being also closely related to the Fokus eGovernment-Lab, the FOKUS Qualipso Consulting Services delivers OSS and combined solutions ready to meet the special needs of governmental applications. Fokus Qualipso Consulting Services offers the integration of OSS components into existing closed source infrastructures (proof of interoperability), migration from closed source to open source infrastructures, proof of concepts for setting up closed and/or open source infrastructures, show cases and compliance with the Qualipso Label.
• Quality reviews and certification (FOKUS Qualipso Labeling Services)
The Fokus Qualipso Competence Center will offer Qualipso Labeling Services, which will certify the quality of the labeled OSS product, developer or company. This service shall be available by 2010.
PSNC QUALIPSO CC (2010-2011)PSNC QUALIPSO CC (2010-2011)
• Phase 1: Support internal FLOSS activities of PSNC • Development and adoption of FLOSS• Collaborative development and technical support• FLOSS quality
– Test the QualiPSo results in practice, broaden the experience, build and improve the knowledge base
• Phase 2: External services on FLOSS and its quality– OSS users and communities, public administration,
ICT industry - companies using, producing and integrating FLOSS.
– Support FLOSS usage, development and quality
