Wieden+Kennedy 12 Portland, OR Account Hybrid Jan 2012 - Dec 2012 W+K 12 is an experiment disguised as a school disguised as an advertising agency located in Wieden+Kennedy’s Portland headquarters. I work with 12 artists, writers, designers, entrepreneurs and schemers on a range of creative endeavors. Zooka Account Lead, Media Planner Led the daily operations of a national integrated campaign for the launch of a wireless speaker. Managed a $70K budget, created the companies social media strategy, developed a digital media plan and maintained all internal and external communication to drive initiatives. w Zero Interactive Producer, Media Planner Spearheaded the media planning and buying of a $60K digital media plan for a Prostate Cancer awareness campaign. Managed all communication between W+K 12, the client and our media partners to ensure that all creative expectations were met. The campaign aracted 13M unique site visits and garnered national press from publications like the Huffington Post, Everyday Health and Agency Spy. Brontosaurus Strategist Devised a short and long-term brand and promotional strategy for the launch of Brontosaurus, a memoir of an assault survivor. The plan included a print and video campaign, extensive social media strategy, three month content calendar and toolkit to increase engagement and maintain publicity. Abecedarium Account Lead, Producer Oversaw concept development, pre-production and event planning for a 26 print art exhibition. Developed our promotional strategy to widen our reach with a web component and accompanying e-commerce platform that aracted buyers from around the world. Insert Change Here Account Lead, Strategist Co-created the concept for an art show that raised awareness for the lack of arts education in Portland, a city of self- described makers. Managed all artist communication and oversaw production to raise $7,500 for the Portland Sun Schools. Hill Holliday • Boston, MA Digital Strategy Intern Sept 2011 - Dec 2011 Delved head first into a world of hash tags and news feeds to monitor conversations on the social web about a client’s image and their competitors. In between acronyms, reported key insights and trends in emerging mobile banking and non profit fund raising platforms. Clients included MLB, Bank of America, Novartis and Ben’s Friends. Mother • New York, NY Account Management Intern May 2011 - Sept 2011 Managed the launch of Tanqueray, a national campaign that sensationalized people to grab the night by the juniper. Developed an experiential strategy and scope of work for the rebrand of Reading is Fundamental, the largest non-profit for children’s literacy. Gold Doesn’t Shine on Everything • Eldoret, Kenya Director & Producer Jan 2010 - Dec 2011 AT&T New Media Fellow, Granoff Creative Arts Center & The Watson Global Media Project Grant Recipient Traveled 10,000 miles with one camera, two TB of storage and 100 pairs of running sneakers to discover the truths behind commercial running in Western Kenya. The journey manifested itself into an extensive webisode series that gave a new perspective on the Kenyan runner by showcasing the lives of five elite training groups on the ground. A Beer World by Design • Providence, RI Planning Commiee and Advisory Board Jan 2010 - Jan 2012 Organized an internationally acclaimed conference that uses design, technology, and enterprise to beer the world we live in. Managed 90 community partners and co-led an effort to redesign the conference structure. With over 1,500 aendees, the conference is regarded as the largest student-run design conference in the world.
