Why the Survey?

GAA-SC Web Mapping Survey 2014

The GAA-SC board starting talking one day about ArcGIS Server and web applications.

• What to do? Where to start? General feeling of being stuck… Not sure which development path to take…

• Surely, the thoughts and concerns for the boards members are not isolated!

• What is everyone doing? ArcGIS Server? ArcGIS Online? Etc…

• Let’s develop a survey to see what others are currently using and what their future plans may hold.

Lessons LearnedCurrent - Q1

GAA-SC Web Mapping Survey 2014

• Questions that should have been on the survey:

• What type of Local Government Organization do you represent?• County, City, Utility, or COG

• HTML 5 as a option for current and future apps.• We did have one person to write-in HTML5 as

a future app
