For Primary students - incoming Grade 1-6 • Two recent writing samples that are no older than two months old • Writing samples should be compositions and not "question and answer" type

Structure and Process helps students improve the organization of their writing and the process that they use to get to a finished piece. Both of these skills are essential to any suc-cess as a writer both in school and beyond.

Conventions and Polish focuses on ensuring students are familiar with the genre con-ventions teachers are looking for in academic essays. In addition to exploring writing skills, students will be challenged with texts that require them to exercise their critical thinking and employ careful analysis to come to their conclusions.

Summer Intensive Program
• Students enrolling in a second course will receive a $300 discount on their tuition and course fee. • Students enrolling in a third or above course will receive a $500 discount on their tuition and course
fee. • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount offer.
In the case that one of the enrolled courses is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, the Multiple Course Discount will be adjusted according to the student's final number of enrolled course(s) and Capstone will confirm the final refundable amount by email.
Assessment fee (Submission based)During this period, we will arrange alternate assessment process to provide course recommendation to new
and returning* Capstone students. Please refer to below requirement for submission based.
For Primary students - incoming Grade 1-6 • Two writing samples no longer than two months. • Sample writing should be a composition and not question or answer type exercises
For Secondary students - incoming Grade 7-12 (i.e. If your child is completing Grade 6 in June/July and wish to join in Summer Intensive course as new
or returning* Capstone student, below would be required to submit to confirm the course for your child • Two writing samples no longer than two months • Writing samples of at least 200+ words
*Returning Capstone students are considered whose last enrollment with Capstone was in December 2019.
