Adding new SW file to the G2 unit

Download the latest G2 software from scubapro.com to your PC/MacPlug in the blue part of the USB cable into the G2 and connect it with your PC or Mac.

G2 SOFTWARE UPDATE

Once you see the charging mode, press the left button on your G2 to select the “DISK”. PLEASE NOTE: A small window might pop up on your PC which recommends to Scan and Fix your G2 device. This is could be a recognition problem but is nothing to worry about. Just follow the recommended steps shown on your PC.

Open your File Explorer/Finder and select G2_DISK (PC) or click on the G2 Disk icon on your desktop (Mac) (1.). Go to the sub folder “System” (2.) and drag and drop the downloaded Software file to the “SWUpdate” folder (3.).

PLEASE NOTE: Do not make any changes to other folders.

ACTUALIZACIÓN DE SOFTWARE G2

ADVERTENCIA: No haga ningún cambio en las demás carpetas

Aggiungere il file del nuovo SW al dispositivo G2

Scaricare la versione più recente del software G2 da scubapro.com sul proprio PC/MacCollegare l’estremità blu del cavo USB al G2 e l’altra al proprio PC o Mac.

AGGIORNAMENTO SOFTWARE G2

Una volta visualizzata la modalità di ricarica, premere il pulsante sinistro sul dispositivo G2 per selezionare “DISK”. NOTA BENE: È possibile che appaia una finestra di piccole dimensioni sul PC che consiglia di eseguire la scansione e correggere eventuali errori sul proprio dispositivo G2. Può trattarsi di un problema di riconoscimento e non c’è nulla di cui preoccuparsi. Basta seguire i passaggi consigliati mostrati sul proprio PC

Aprire Esplora Risorse di Windows e selezionare G2_DISK (PC) o fare clic sull’icona G2 Disk sul desktop (Mac). (1.). Andare al sottomenu “Sistema” (2.) e trascinare e rilasciare il file SW precedentemente scaricato nella cartella “SWUpdate (3.).

NOTA BENE: Non apportare modifiche ad altre cartelle.

Ajout du nouveau fichier SW sur le G2

Sur votre PC/Mac, rendez-vous sur scubapro.com pour y télécharger la dernière mise à jour logicielle de votre G2.

MISE À JOUR LOGICIELLE DU G2

Connectez la partie bleue du câble USB au G2, puis connectez l’autre extrémité à votre PC ou à votre Mac.

Une fois l’écran de charge affichée, appuyez sur le bouton de gauche de votre G2, puis sélectionnez « DISK ». ATTENTION : une petite fenêtre peut s’ouvrir vous conseillant d’analyser et réparer votre G2. Ce message peut être dû à un problème lors de la reconnaissance de votre G2 et n’a rien d’inquiétant. Suivez tout simplement les étapes affichées à l’écran.

Ouvrez l’explorateur Windows et sélectionnez G2_DISK (PC) ou cliquez sur l’icône de disque G2 sur votre bureau (Mac) (1.). Rendez-vous dans le dossier « System » (2.) et glissez-déposez le fichier SW précédemment téléchargé dans le sous-dossier « SWUpdate » (3.).

ATTENTION : n’effectuez de modifications dans aucun autre dossier.

G2 SOFTWARE UPDATE

Sobald Sie den Lade-Bildschirm sehen, drücken Sie den linken „DISK” Knopf. HINWEIS: Es kann ein kleines Fenster erscheinen, welches Ihnen empfiehlt, Ihren G2 zu Scannen und Reparieren. Es besteht kein Grund zur Beunruhigung, es handelt sich eventuell um ein Erkennungsproblem. Befolgen Sie einfach die von Ihrem PC empfohlenen Schritte.

Öffnen Sie nun Ihren Dateien Explorer/Finder und wählen Sie G2_DISK (PC) oder klicken Sie auf das G2_Disk Icon auf Ihrem Benutzer-Desktop (Mac) (1.). Gehen Sie nun in den Ordner „System” (2.) und ziehen oder kopieren Sie die vorgängig heruntergeladene G2 Software Datei in den „SWUpdate“ Ordner (3.).

HINWEIS: Führen Sie keine Änderungen an anderen Ordnern durch.

Eject your G2 by clicking the Safe Removal icon ( ) in the notification area of the taskbar. Select G2 from the devices listed. When the notification stating that it’s now safe to unplug or eject the device appears disconnect your G2 from your PC or Mac.

Repeat until you reach “8.8 Software update”. Press the right button, choose the latest Software and save your changes by pressing the right button again. The Software currently installed on your G2 is marked by an asterix (*).

The installation process of the new SW will begin. As soon as it has finished “SW Update Successful” will appear on the G2 screen. G2 software is now updated. Turn off the G2 by pressing the right button.

Enjoy your updated G2!

5. Eject your G2 by clicking the Safe Removal icon ( ) in the notification area of the taskbar. Select G2 from the devices listed. When the notification stating that it’s now safe to unplug or eject the device appears disconnect your G2 from your PC or Mac.

Expulse su G2 haciendo clic en el icono de Expulsión Segura ( ) situado en la zona de notificaciones de la barra de tareas. Seleccione el G2 en la lista de dispositivos. Aparecerá una notificación indicando que es seguro desconectar o expulsar el dispositivo. Desconecte su G2 de su PC o Mac.

Instalar el nuevo software en la unidad G2

Encienda su G2 pulsando el botón derecho.

Pulse el botón «MENÚ» izquierdo.

Pulse sucesivamente el botón «Flecha Abajo» izquierdo hasta que llegue al punto «8. Otras Configuraciones» y, a continuación, pulse el botón derecho «ENTR» para entrar en el menú.

Siga el mismo procedimiento hasta llegar al punto «8.8 Actualización de software». Pulse el botón derecho, seleccione el software más reciente y guarde los cambios pulsando de nuevo el botón derecho. El software actualmente instalado en su G2 está señalado con un asterisco (*).

El proceso de instalación del nuevo software dará comienzo. Una vez finalizado, aparecerá en la pantalla del G2 el mensaje « ¡SW actualizado correctamente! ». Ahora el software de su G2 está actualizado. Apague su G2 pulsando el botón derecho.

Rimuovere il dispositivo G2 facendo clic sull’icona Rimozione sicura ( ) nell’area di notifica della barra delle applicazioni. Selezionare G2 dall’elenco dei dispositivi. Comparirà una notifica che indica che ora è sicuro scollegare o rimuovere il dispositivo. Scollegare il dispositivo G2 dal PC o dal Mac.

Installare il nuovo SW sul dispositivo G2

Avviare il dispositivo G2 premendo il pulsante destro.

Premere il pulsante sinistro “MENU”

Premere il pulsante sinistro “Freccia giù” fino a quando si raggiunge “8. Altre impostazioni”, quindi premere il tasto destro “ENTR” per accedere al menu.

Seguire la stessa procedura fino a raggiungere “8.8 aggiornamento software”. Premere il pulsante destro, scegliere il Software più recente e salvare le modifiche premendo di nuovo il tasto destro. Il software attualmente installato sul tuo G2 è segnalato da un asterisco [*].

Il processo di installazione del nuovo software verrà avviato. Una volta completato apparirà sullo schermo del dispositivo G2 la scritta “Aggiorn. SW riuscito!”. Il software G2 ora è aggiornato. Spegnere il dispositivo G2 premendo il pulsante destro

Godetevi il vostro G2 aggiornato!

Éjectez votre G2 en cliquant sur l’icône Retirer le périphérique en toute sécurité ( ) in the notification area of the taskbar. Select G2 from the devices listed. When the notification stating that it’s now safe to unplug or eject the device appears disconnect your G2 from your PC or Mac.

Installation du nouveau fichier SW sur le G2

Démarrez votre G2 en appuyant sur le bouton de droite.

Appuyez sur le bouton « MENU » de gauche.

Appuyez sur le bouton « flèche vers le bas » de gauche jusqu’à atteindre l’option « 8. Autres réglages », puis appuyez sur le bouton « ENTR » pour accéder au menu.

Répétez cette procédure jusqu’à atteindre l’option « 8.8 M.A.J. logiciel ». Appuyez sur le bouton de droite, choisissez la dernière version logicielle, puis enregistrez vos modifications en appuyant de nouveau sur le bouton de droite. Le logiciel actuellement installé sur votre G2 est marqué d’un astérisque (*).

L’installation du nouveau fichier SW commence. Une fois l’installation terminée, le message « M.A.J. logiciel effectuée! » s’affiche sur l’écran du G2. Le logiciel du G2 est maintenant à jour. Éteignez le G2 en appuyant sur le bouton de droite.

Bonnes plongées avec votre G2 mis à jour!

Klicken Sie im Infobereich der Taskleiste auf das Symbol für sicheres Entfernen ( ). Wählen Sie in der Liste den G2 aus. Es wird eine Benachrichtigung mit dem Hinweis angezeigt, dass das Gerät jetzt sicher entfernt oder abgedockt werden kann. Trennen Sie das Gerät nun vom PC/Mac.

Installieren der neuen SW auf dem G2.

Starten Sie Ihren G2 durch Drücken der rechten Taste.

Betätigen Sie anschliessend die linke „MENU”-Taste.

Im Menü angekommen, drücken Sie die linke „Pfeil nach unten”-Taste, bis Sie den Menüpunkt „8. Andere Einstellungen“ erreichen. Drücken Sie nun die „Enter“-Taste, um ins nächste Untermenü zu kommen.

Fahren Sie im gleichen Sinne wie oben erwähnt fort, bis Sie den Menüpunkt “8.8 Software update” erreichen. Drücken Sie nun wieder die rechte Taste, wählen Sie dann die neuste Software aus und drücken Sie die rechte Taste erneut. Die aktuell installierte Software ist mit einem Stern (*) markiert.

Der Installations-Vorgang der neuen Software beginnt. Sobald der Vorgang abgeschlossen ist, erscheint „SW Update erfolgreich” auf Ihrem Bildschirm. Ihre G2 Software wurde erfolgreich auf den neusten Stand gebracht. Schalten Sie diesen nun mit einem Betätigen der rechten Taste aus.
