Corning Non-Binding Surface Multiwell PlatesNon-Binding surface (NBS) multiwell plates have a modified polymer surface (PS)
which results in a non-ionic hydrophilic surface (polyethylene oxide-like), thereby
minimizing bio-interaction and enhancing the signal-to-noise ratio. Results have
demonstrated NBS’s ability to significantly reduce protein and nucleic acid
binding to polymers (<2 ng/cm2; over 90% reduction of protein binding
compare to PS & PP surface), maintain enzyme activity, and inhibit adhesion of a
number of cell lines. These novel surface technologies for assay plates are ideal
for homogeneous assays such as Scintillation Proximity Assay (SPA). In addition
to a 20+ fold increase in signal-to-noise ratio, selected assays have also displayed
improved sensitivity and specificity. The working volume on the NBS microplate
is 2 ml to 20 ml.

The MultiWash Advantage performs a 300 ml three-cycle wash on a full 96-well
plate in less than two minutes. By programming and storing routines,
technicians can switch
between seven different modes at the touch of a button. Additional features
include a floating manifold that adjusts to match each plate and allows the
washer to perform special test
procedures. At the end of the day, the MultiWash Advantage provides a push

Vaccu-Pette/96� Multiwell PipetterA simple idea that saves a lot of time in a variety of multiwell protocols. For
transfers to, from, and between 96-well plates, just connect the Vaccu-Pette/96
to a large syringe and aspirate about 100 times the desired per-well volume. For
example, to transfer 50 ml/well, aspirate and deliver a total of 5 ml. Cells
growing in the wells are protected by ridges that prevent access to the bottom
50 ml of each well. Ideal for ELISA, cytotoxicity, and cloning procedures. Without
a syringe, the device will pick up about 15ml per well, making it an effective
96-well blotting tool.
