Dixons Carphone - Employee Relations Administrator October 2014 – Present

I am currently working within the HR department, specifically Employee Relations. Initially working through an agency before becoming fixed term in January, my main duties in this role are to handle contracts and produce outcome letters.

• Download, check and prepare contracts ready for posting

• Create outcome letters for a variety of cases

• Update reports with contract figures

• Be able to identify errors on documents Dixons Carphone - Administrator/Product Data Analyst July 2014 - August 2014

My main priority was to assist with checking forms and images for new products sent from suppliers to ensure that they were ready and correct for the copywriters. I also helped with proof reading existing lines already on their website.

For this role I was expected to:

• Have a keen eye for detail

• Work well independently

• Be able to source information from external sites

Terraillon UK Ltd - Sales Administrator February 2012 - February 2014

Here I was the main point of contact for all customer queries and UK orders. Working as part of a very small team the job was quite broad and we had to be willing to work together interdepartmentally when necessary to ensure that all duties were covered.

For this role I was expected to:

• Complete and send weekly sales reports

• Liase with sales agents when order amendments were required

Breakspear Medical Centre – Laboratory Technician June 2011-August 2011

Here I worked as part of a small team producing vaccines for a number of patients with allergies. My duties included stocking up supplies, handling the vaccines and their components and working within a sterile environment.

3Store Hemel Hempstead – Sales Associate October 2010 – June 2011

Here I worked as part of a small team in their Hemel Hempstead store. Though the job was heavily target based, we aimed to maintain our level of customer service and as such I had to be comfortable approaching every customer in a confident and friendly manner and make sure any issues were resolved as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

For this role I was expected to:

• Be well presented, well mannered, confident and approachable

• Keep up to date with all of our products and tariffs

• Have knowledge of all Microsoft programs including excel

• Be computer literate, for work purposes and to aid customers with a variety of problems they may face on their mobile phones or laptops

• Be able to communicate well with a whole spectrum of customers

Keystone Distribution UK – Customer Service Advisor November 2009 – July 2010

Here I worked as part of a small team of customer service advisors within a large food supply chain. It was often very fast-paced; receiving hundreds of emails each day and dealing with large volumes of incoming calls.

For the role I was expected to:

• Have a clear, confident telephone manner and good written English skills

• Have knowledge of Microsoft programs

• Think on my feet and work well under pressure

• Be able to deal with all types of customers

• Take control of the situation

• Be a quick learner as procedures often changed

For this role I was expected to:

• Meet store targets

• Be welcoming and approachable

• Make sure my product knowledge was up to date

Dixons Stores Group International – Customer Service Assistant October 2007 – February 2008

I worked as part of the LDC team, this dealt with the processing and delivery of white goods and other large products.

For this role I was expected to:

• Be confident on both incoming and outgoing calls

• Process any orders which had not come through our systems correctly

• Be sympathetic to customers which had encountered a problem, and help to rectify the issue
