Step 1: Carefully read the Economic Development Funding FY2020 Guidelines (PDF posted Nov. 19, 2018)
Step 2: If you have questions, contact the Economic Development Department by emailing us at [email protected] or calling (619) 236-6700.
Step 3: Prepare your Sample RFQ Application in a format that you can use to cut and paste responses in the online RFQ Application. Download Economic Development Funding Fiscal Year 2020 Sample RFQ (Microsoft Word or PDF - Posted Nov. 19, 2018)

Step 4: Prepare your Financial Statements Templates
Download Financial Statements Templates (Microsoft Excel -Posted Nov. 19, 2018) and save to your own computer.
Open the Excel file; enter your Organization name, dates and financial information in the highlighted cells.• Statement of Activities – Current Fiscal Year• Statement of Activities – Prior Fiscal Year• Statement of Financial Position – Prior Fiscal year• Statement of Computed Liquid Unrestricted Net Assets (LUNA)
Save or print each of the four worksheets individually as a PDF.
Finally, attach each PDF in Section 7 of the electronic RFQ Application Form.

• Narrative questions are specific/detailed, similar to last year.
• Provide succinct responses.
• Don’t repeat information to be included under a different question.
