Background

Changes will be implemented in a manner consistent with our values.

We are seeking to achieve: •

A common structure across Endeavour Energy, Ausgrid and Essential Energy

•

Clearly identify the functions and objectives to be delivered in

each area

•

Improve efficiency, reduce duplication and reduce operating costs

Why we are making the changes •

To keep our commitment to customers to limit future network electricity price increases to CPI or less.

Guiding principles

1. Internal •

The priority will be to select internal candidates

2. Open•

The process will be open to all employees with the necessary qualifications and experience

3. Fair •

There will be a standardised application and selection process for shortlisted candidates and the interview panels will be led by the relevant Managers

The process may also include direct appointment as an option when taking into account factors such as incumbency in unchanged

positions in the new structure or redeployment of existing employees with appropriately matched skills and experience.
