Whose job is it to prepare youth?There is an increasing disconnect between the content-driven education model largely developed in the 19th century and today’s rapidly evolving, skills-based world of work.
Reason 1: Many systems —built over a century ago—are based on youth-development theories and education models that may be inadequately serving students’ current and future needs; models that do not emphasize team-based projects and problem solving.
