Foresight: Is the attempt to map projections into the
future and to explore their potential implications.
IT IS NOT some forecasting by experts, neither a
prophecy nor a prediction.
Scenarios: Is the attempt to work with those
who are concerned with the futures inquiry
and its implications, to generate a set of
plausible divergent future worlds.
IT IS a tool to challenge the assumptions of
any given or inevitable future.

The challenge of education
is to prepare the children of today for:
a world that has yet to be created.
jobs yet to be invented.
technologies yet undreamed.
Any foresight effort which focuses on the
role of education as a societal necessity.
KOUTSOPOULOS Professor NTUA and V.P. EUROGEO
Requires an examination of trends
and challenges in society,
technology and education.

SCENARIO FOR A NEW SCHOOL The new School on the Cloud can attain an
educational environment providing unity
without uniformity by creating the
foundations upon which to apply the new
Network centered paradigm which in turn
provides a Cloud based education.
IN ORDER TO PUT THE A SCHOOL ON CLOUD INTO OPERATION THERE IS:
A need to work within a susceptible to present
conditions educational paradigm (I propose the new
Network knowing paradigm)
A Suitable educational setting
to apply them (I proposed the
new Unity without Uniformity)
To have the appropriate instrument to be
able to do so (I propose Cloud Computing)

THE CLOUD BASED PROPOSED SCHOOL ON THE CLOUD
All stakeholders by utilizing the
same recourses and possibilities
have equal opportunities or Unity
The unusual combination of the
great abilities offered and the
ubiquity in providing any service
to all stakeholders negate the
necessity for Uniformity

THE EDUCATION PARADIGM NOWDAYS
Deprive present day students of
the tools they need most to master
the necessary skills and dexterities
(the necessary unity in the
education system)
Force them to follow a
predetermined path to achieve
them (not avoiding the barriers of
uniformity )
