NMEA 2000® – COMMUNICATION NETWORKThe FUSION 700 Series is a NMEA 2000 Certified marine device. NMEA 2000 is the standard marine protocol onboard many vessels, this enables electronic equipment hard wired into the NMEA 2000 Bus the ability to communicate with each other. Many boats with multi-purpose displays at the helm or electronic engine control will already have the NMEA 2000 communication network installed. FUSION’s 700 Series entertainment system can connect to the network and communicate with other compatible NMEA 2000 devices. FUSION-Link compatible NMEA 2000 multifunction displays can control the 700 Series entertainment experience from the display itself.

Another huge advantage - FUSION’s MS-NRX200 wired remote controls can connect to the NMEA 2000 Bus, removing the need to wire back to the stereo unit. The communication is both ways, as FUSION’s MS-NRX200 remote can repeat NMEA data like depth, speed and wind direction on the remote’s screen.

Smaller or older vessels without NMEA 2000 can still have FUSION MS-NRX200 wired remotes in almost any location. Or for absolute simplicity, the 700 Series can be controlled at the Entertainment unit. A FUSION NMEA 2000 starter kit (MS-N2KSTART or MS-N2KCONN) is required for NMEA 2000 connectivity.

ETHERNET – FULL WIRELESS CONTROLImagine full Wireless control of your FUSION 700 system anywhere on your boat from devices like the iPhone®. Add a Wi-Fi wireless router to the 700 Series Entertainment System and Apple® devices like the iPhone, iPod touch® and various Android products can wirelessly control the audio around the boat. CONTROL iPod MUSIC LIBRARYFUSION’s 700 Series replicates the iPod Music interface, for simple navigation and control of audio. iPod album art is displayed in colour on the 700 Series LCD screen and FUSION-Link mobile Apps. FUSION 700 SERIES WIRED REMOTE – MS-NRX200FUSION’s new advanced 700 Series wired remotes are NMEA 2000 certified for connection directly into the NMEA Bus of your vessel. FUSION’s wired remote solutions offer complete control of the audio Zones and all stereo sources. Most stereo functions are replicated by the remote control’s user-interface, so the remote is as easy to use as the 700 Series stereo unit. Wiring directly into the NMEA Bus removes the need to run cable back to the 700 Series stereo, for vessels not NMEA 2000 enabled, the remote can still be wired conventionally.
