Further Maths A Level Course Content Further Maths develops the content from A Level Maths and introduces new and more complex mathematical concepts. In the Further Pure Maths you will study: matrices, complex numbers, hyperbolic functions, higher order linear and non- linear differential equations, co-ordinate systems including polar co-ordinates. There will also be two option papers which will include further study in mechanics and decision maths. Decision maths is the process of applying algorithms to practical problems including linear programming and optimisation, critical path analysis and algorithms on graphs and networks. Further Maths develops the content from A Level Maths and introduces new and more complex mathematical concepts.
