Types Of Furniture

Free-Standing : Furniture can be rearranged whenever necessary.

Cantilevered: Furniture fixed on brackets fitted to the walls.

Built-in: Furniture Fitted and fixed into architectural set aside for them in the construction of building.

Fitted: A standalone furniture item with its own sides, base and top apart from the room walls, ceiling or floor.

Upholstered: Furniture consists of a decorative outer covering of fabric(Linen).

Modular: Furniture built against a wall and makes most economical use of space.

Antiques: Furniture that are more than 100 or more years old.

Door, windows and locks: Door should be well balanced, have a stopper, should be provided with a peephole.

cabinet in which a refrigerator is kept. Guestroom Safe: It is an in-room locker for the

guests to keep their valuables.

Heating Equipment: Applicable for hotels situated in cold countries, kind of central heating system.

Common accessories in a guestroom include pictures on the wall,

decorative ceramic or terracotta vases and lamps, brass artifacts, stone sculptures, wall hangings,

ornamental mirrors etc..

Pictures: hung on guestroom walls may be paintings, framed reproductions of paintings or photographs.

Lamps: There are a different varieties of lamps, Table lamps, standalone lamps.

Ornamental mirrors: It is hung up in such a way that the wall nearby is empty in order to enrich its beauty.
