James Dean:50th Anniversary TributeJoin us for an evening honoring one of SMC’s best-know alums—actor James Dean—on

the 50th anniversary of his tragic death. The evening will feature filmmaker Michael J.

Sheridan and his recently released documentary James Dean: Forever Young. The film—

which premiered this May at the Festival de Cannes and was shown shortly thereafter at

London’s prestigious National Film Theatre—includes rare footage of Dean that reveals a

much wider range of skills as a performer than any of his famous feature films.
