Cub section is now at 21 (max 32) which I am running supported by Shannon and 2 new helpers Luke & Ashleigh. However, we do need a new Cub Scout Leader to take the Cub section forwards. This support would really help to develop the sixes to their full potential, as we have several camps already completed, with more competitions, activities and events to follow this year. Scout section meets monthly for a ½ or full day activity, e.g. a 30 mile cycle or hike. I run this section and focus on Duke of Edinburgh training and activities to help the scouts get from the Bronze Award that some will start at school in year 9, up to Gold by the time they leave school or college. In doing so, they could also work towards their Queens Scout Award. PARENTS & SUPPORTERS BOTH PHYSICAL AND FINANCIAL Let me take this opportunity to thank you all once again for your continued support, you enable the young people to take part in fun, challenging, exciting activities.
