Why Should We Eat Grapes ?

• 1 cup of grapes has antioxidants called flavonoids and phenols that can help prevent heart disease and cancer!

• It also provides 30% of the recommended Daily Value for Vitamin C!

• Grapes are an excellent source of Vitamin K, which is necessary for proper bone growth.

• They also provide us with fiber, iron, calcium, and Vitamin A.

• Fun Fact: 1 cup of grapes equals three fourths cup water, which helps keep the body hydrated!

How To Select, Store and Serve Grapes?

• Look for firm, plump, brightly colored clusters of grapes. dark green leaves. Avoid grapes that are shriveled, sticky, have brown spots or dry, brittle stems.

• Fresh grapes stay good for two or three days in the refrigerator.

• Store them in a covered container or plastic bag.

• Grapes are best when served slightly cold. This makes them more crisp and flavorful!
