Fundació Privada Ascamm hosted the kick-off meeting of the ZEMedS project Friday, 5 April 2013 - Barcelona ZEMedS, Promoting renovation of schools in Mediterranean climate up to nearly zero-energy buildings, is a 3 years project co-funded by the European Commission within the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme (IEE). The project addresses the promotion of the necessary actions to increase the renovation of school buildings in a Mediterranean climate to be nearly Zero-Energy Buildings (nZEB). Led by Fundació Privada ASCAMM (Barcelona, Spain), the consortium is formed by 10 partners from four Mediterranean countries (Greece, Italy, France and Spain), and it balances the active participation of 1 university, 1 technology centre, 1 energy agency, 3 SMEs and 4 public. >>read more ZEMedS first Technical Committee Tuesday, 9 July 2013 -Barcelona ZEMedS project supports the ambitious European vision for the energy performance of buildings, starting to convert building stock into nearly Zero-Energy Buildings (nZEB).
