ZEMedS, Promoting renovation of schools in Mediterranean climate up to nearly zero-energy buildings, is a3 years project co-funded by the European Commission within the Intelligent Energy Europe Programme(IEE). The project addresses the promotion of the necessary actions to increase the renovation of schoolbuildings in a Mediterranean climate to be nearly Zero-Energy Buildings (nZEB).

Led by Fundació Privada ASCAMM (Barcelona, Spain), the consortium is formed by 10 partners from fourMediterranean countries (Greece, Italy, France and Spain), and it balances the active participation of 1university, 1 technology centre, 1 energy agency, 3 SMEs and 4 public. >>read more

ZEMedS project supports the ambitious European vision for the energy performance of buildings, starting toconvert building stock into nearly Zero-Energy Buildings (nZEB). In this context, ZEMedS promotes thenecessary actions to foster the renovation of Mediterranean schools turning them into nZEB.

ZEMedS on BUILDUP:OVERVIEW - Nearly Zero-Energy Buildings projects from Intelligent Energy Europe

Five projects funded by the Intelligent Energy Europe programme on the topic of nearly Zero-EnergyBuildings (nZEB) are presented.
