Collective Nouns!

We usually use plurals when there are more than one of something. However, in certain cases, you can also use collective nouns. Collective nouns are words that are used to describe a group of nouns. Choose the correct collective noun for the following:

A. Our cat just had a (litter/coddle) of seven kittens.

B. We went swimming with a (school/pod) of dolphins.

C. We were kept up all night by a (herd/cackle) of hyenas howling.

D. The police busted a (bunch/gang) of thieves.
