Teachers will begin tracking students’ reading progress and awarding daily reading prizes. Wednesday 9/20: “Oh the Places You’ll Go by Dr. Seuss”—Dress in your wackiest, tackiest outfit! Also on this day, teachers, room parents, and students will add the finishing touches to their classroom doors for the chance to win a class party. Thursday 9/21: “Who’s Your Travel Buddy?”—Dress like your twin today. Friday 9/22: “Get Over Your Jet Lag”—Wear pajamas and bring your favorite book and stuffed animal for a special reading time during the school day.
