Grade Reporting

▪ Semester system - Permanent grades at 18 and 36 weeks delivered by mail.

▪ Quarter grades - 9 and 27 week progress reports provided by mail.

In Physical Education students will work on: Fitness and Wellness Movement and skill knowledge Social development and group interaction Fitness Assessments

-Your child will be assigned a locker. -Please help them learn how to use a

combination lock. Hint: Turn the dial once you close the lock and practice at home.

-Students will keep all valuables in their locker during P.E.

-Students are to take their P.E. clothes home on Fridays to be washed and ready for Monday

Many incoming sixth graders may have mixed emotions about moving up to middle school and we want to extend our support. Here are a few tips for

helping your student make a smooth transition: - -Review all the amazing things offered on campus, get them excited!- - Attend WEB Orientation TOMORROW-this is a must.- - Practice locks at home for P.E.- - Review Bell schedule and Student Handbook together. - - Encourage and support your child to join extracurricular activities. - - Practice various skills needed to handle difficult social situations.- -Talk about what makes a good friend. - - Stay connected with teachers, the school counselor and administrators. - - Help your child become an advocate for themselves, encourage them to - ask questions. - - Attend important events on campus. - - Assist your child with organization and planning skills. -

Pali Institute

6th Grade Science CampAre you interested?

The Pali Institute offers a 3-day camp program focused on bringing the textbook to life. Curriculum modules include outdoor education, science and leadership. Students will be studying biology, geology, meteorology and renewable & nonrenewable energy resources to list a few. The cost is $330.
