Though you were in the back early, you fought through it and ran good splits for your season best race. This is the most important thing. Your times prove that you are the best RHXC team since 2003. Good work. Way to deliver your best punch on the most important race of the year.

Purple shoes? Can you deliver next week too? First and last season, make your investment worth it.
Find your partner. This is your first and last season. No regrets.
You had your mind made up on how you were going to perform before you started. Expect something different next time.
Consistency, you need to expect this from yourself. Cannot step back to end where you want to end the season at.
Timing impeccable. I needed you, and you showed up.
How will you cap this season off. I know you have not reached your cap yet.
I love your demeanor. When it is time to get to business, you show up.

Way to step up. Focus on your effort in your training and you'll keep moving forward.
You did exactly what you were supposed to do, no splits in the 7:00. Keep up the good work.
Good competitive spirit, especially at the end. You'll get the 18:30 time if you focus on bringing down your 2nd mile.

Comments: Your hard work is starting to really pay off. What a jump in times. Way to step it up on your home course. Your best team average of the year, your smallest 1-5 time gap, and the best team finish of the year. Take the confidence each of you earned today and keep this train marching forward. You are only 66 seconds from your team goal. Can each of you drop 66 seconds off of your time in the next 6 weeks... YES.
Let's work on bringing down your mile 2 & 3 times. Push yourself during training and you'll get there.
Way to drop a few minutes off of your time. Keep it up and be sure to stretch well.

Inching forward with your time each week. Splits are relatively even too, I just know you can race further up yet.
A rough week for you, way to hang through it. Position yourself right in practice, then the race time will follow.
Improving each week. Your form looked better. Leave mile 1 the same for now & concentrate on no 6:00 splits.
Good first mile, made it tough for the last one though. 5 secs slower on 1 & hold on to that last mile.
Not as bad as you are thinking, you just had a rough week. Your ran better than I was predicting you would do.

Comments: Best competitiveness for the season thus far. The course was slow for many teams, yet 1/2 of you ran a PR. Without your #4 & #5, and on top of a rough week, you all still delivered a solid performance for one of your best places of the year. The mile 1-2 split improved too. Sure, not the times we want yet, but this race could have swung an entirely different direction, yet you guys stood up and made it happen.

Great splits. When you finished that workout Tuesday, I knew you were mentally there. Keep at it each day. How about a 22:30?
Chopping at that block each week. Great Splits. Cannot wait to see what you do with a healthy and rested body. Oh my.

It was GREAT to see you girls run again. Strong, you are now hitting stride when it matters most. No back tracking for the rest of the season. Lead each other, seek to be number 1 on the team, plan on your team counting on you each time you line up. Ride this wave all of the way through the region meet. I am so excited to see what you will do then.
Just working through this week reminds me of your commitment to this team. I know I can count on you when it matters most.

The toughest group of girls that I have ever coached. You girls are awesome. Every one of you have some sort of ache or injury this week, yet you delivered the year's best performance. 4 teams removed themselves from the team competition within 24 hours of the race. You girls could have done the same, but you show up and delivered. Each of you work hard for each other, let your drive take you to your season goal, 80 seconds to go, 6 weeks left to get it done. You have now officially matched the team average time from last year's region champion team.
5K, Mostly flat-4 tiny hills, narrow to wide course, mostly dry and fast with three short soft spots.
Let's figure out something else for you. It's not worth having you in pain and running poor quality miles.
I'm pleased that you were disappointed at the end of the race; it shows your drive. Keep working on what you need to do.
