What is it?I charge you in the presence of God… (2 Ti 4:1)

he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ… (Eph 4:11-12)

You have a ministry. • It is something that God has prepared

specifically for you to do.

• There is a need for that particular ministry.

• God has ordained you to be the one to put that piece of the kingdom puzzle in place.

Are you fulfilling your ministry?

Why do it?For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. (2 Ti 4:3-4)

Why do it?

The work of ministry anchors people to the church that Christ is building.

What it takesFor I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. (2 Ti 4:6-7)

How to do itHenceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing. (2 Ti 4:8)
