FryskLab:
catalyst for digital literacy in libraries
FryskLab
FryskLab is an initiative of Fers and the Frisian public libraries. It is the first mobile Library FabLab in Europe (Januari 2014).
At it’s core is to improve digital literacy and maker skills for children, teenagers and adults in and beyond the mobile library lab environment.
Lawrence Lessig“The importance is that technique has been democratized. These tools of creativity have become tools of speech. It is a literacy for this generation. This is how our kids speak. It is how our kids think. It is what your kids are as they increasingly understand digital technologies and their relationship to themselves.”
