28. JUJUBA/CHINESE DATES TRATS INSOMNIA AND ANXIETY( Scientific Name ;

The jujube fruit, the ziziphusjujuba, originated in China. The small, red round fruit has edible skin and a sweet flavor. It has been popular in Chinese medicine for thousands of years and has been gaining popularity in the West. This fruit, also known as the Chinese date, has potent health benefits. It has calming properties and is a good source of natural antioxidants, according to the January 2009 issue of the African Journal of Biotechnology. It's part of the Rhamnaceae family and is available in supplement form.

1. Treats Insomnia and Anxiety

Insomnia and anxiety affect millions of people, and sufferers often seek the care of health specialists for relief. At least one-third of the population experiences insomnia at some point in their lives, according to SleepMed. Likewise, more than 19 million adults suffer from anxiety. Jujubes may offer help. They contain compounds that have a sedative effect, according to Nutraceutical Research.

Antioxidants help defend the body from damaging free radicals. These free radicals interact with cells, damage vital components and may trigger diseases and aging. Because jujubes contain a large amount of antioxidants, they can help improve the immune system and overall health. They have a strengthening effect and contain plenty of phytochemicals, according to the aforementioned African Journal of Biotechnology article.

Their impressive nutritional content also includes a notable amount of vitamin C, vitamin A and vitamin B2. Jujubes also contain vital minerals, such as manganese, iron, phosphorus and

calcium. These elements work synergistically to create general health and well being and bolster the immune system.

They found that the jujube offers protection against liver injury by acting as an antioxidant. Oxidative stress, according to NetDoctor, is the process by which free radicals negatively affect the body, causing disease and aging. Antioxidants sweep up the free radicals and offset their effects. Fortunately, jujubes contain chemical compounds that help fight this oxidative damage

32. LEMON IS IMPORTANT FRUIT WORLD EVER (لیموں)( Scientific Name ;

Lemons provide an excellent source of vitamin C.  They are also a good source of vitamin B6, folic acid, potassium, limonene, and flavonoids.  Studies have been done on the phytochemical limonene which is extracted from lemons. Findings showed that limonene contains anticancer properties and is effective in dissolving gallstones.  The highest concentration of limonene is located in the whitespongy inner parts of the lemon.

The lemon was probably unknown to the ancient Greeks and Romans, but it was introduced into Spain and North Africa some time between the years AD 1000 and 1200. It was further distributed through Europe by the crusaders, who found the fruit growing in Palestine. In 1494 the fruit was being cultivated in the Azores and shipped largely to England. The lemon was thought by the 18th-century Swedish botanist Linnaeus to be a variety of the citron (Citrus medica), though it is now

known to be a separate species.Juicy, acidic, and flavorful lemon is the most widely used citrus fruit worldwide. It is the smallest among citrus fruits yet contains more health benefiting nutrients than oranges, pomelo etc.

Lemon juice, rind, and zest are used in a wide variety of culinary applications:

Lemon juice is used to make lemonade, soft drinks, and marinades for both fish, where its acid neutralizes amines in fish by converting them into nonvolatile ammonium salts, and meat, where the acid partially hydrolyzes tough collagen fibers, tenderizing the meat, but the low pH denatures the proteins, causing them to dry out when cooked.

Lemon juice is also used as a short-term preservative on certain foods that tend to oxidize and turn brown after being sliced, such as apples, bananas and avocados, where its acid denatures the enzymes which cause browning and degradation. Lemon juice and rind are used to make marmalade and lemon liqueur.

Lemon slices and lemon rind are used a garnish for both food and drinks.

Lemon zest, the grated outer rind of the fruit, is used to add flavor to baked goods, puddings, rice and other dishes.

Pickled lemons are a Moroccan delicacy

Among the important by-products of lemons are citric acid, citrate of lime, lemon oil, and pectin. Preparation of the oil, used in perfumes, soap, and flavouring extract, is an important industry in Sicily. Citric acid is used in beverage manufacturing. Pectin has long been an important material for making fruit jellies; it has also been used in medicine in the treatment of intestinal disorders, as an antihemorrhagic, as a plasma extender, and for other purposes.

Some superior Japanese varieties reached Europe, the Mediterranean area, and a few other regions. The loquat is grown commercially (usually on a rather small scale) in many subtropical regions. While the loquat is commonly grown from seeds, commercial plantings are usually based on grafted trees of superior varieties. The tree is propagated by shield budding and cleft grafting; loquat seedlings or quince rootstocks grown from cuttings can be used, the latter if a dwarf tree is desired. They grow well on various soils, from sandy loams to clays, and come into bearing at three or four years.
