From traditional to high impact presentation slides (o) This worksheet is designed to show you how to improve your presentation slides so that they have a higher impact on the audience.

Traditionally presentation slides were used as a prompter for presenters to ensure that they remembered the key points that they wanted to get across in the presentation. The slides tended to list what the presenter should say and what the attendee should take away with them. The following examples illustrate traditional presentation slides which are then transformed into modern slides that have more impact and are more memorable for the audience. For your own presentation you can start by setting out your presentation in a traditional slide format on your sticky notes. Then select a number of them to turn into high impact slides. Wherever possible use less text, and more graphics and images so that you are talking to your slides and retaining the attention of your audience.
