from the Principal … from the Principal … from the Principal … from the Principal … Thank you to everyone buying
cakes in support of Mrs Harron’s
charity fund raising. The sale of
cakes last week raised £96.30 for Diabetes UK.
During the weekend of 7/8th October Mrs Danvers-
Brough is running a marathon to raise money for
Alzheimer's. We wish her luck and if anyone wishes to support her fund-raising, please
send money in an envelope to the School Office.
I am pleased to let you know that Mr and Mrs Cornell (both members of staff here at Bournemouth Park
Academy) became the very proud parents of baby Emmy on Tuesday this week. Both are on
maternity leave now but we look forward to a visit and some baby cuddles soon!
Children and staff going on the Year 5+6 residential visit to France left early today and will
return on Monday. We are sure they will have a super time away.

Unfortunately we have had a complaint from local
residents about one of our parents parking over their driveway and subjecting them to extreme verbal
abuse when asked to move their vehicle.
The matter was so serious it is now being investigated by the police. No children should have to witness such examples
of gross rudeness to our neighbours.
Parents are not allowed to drive their cars into our staff car parks to drop off or collect children as this is a Health & Safety issue. In addition they
must not obstruct the driveways of local residents.
COLLECTING CHILDREN FROM AFTER– SCHOOL CLUBS Children must be collected at 4:15pm, when after school clubs finish. A child’s place at the club may have to be withdrawn if a parent is repeatedly late collecting. Clubs are provided without cost to parents from the generosity of school staff volunteering their time to run them. Please do not abuse this provision by not collecting your child on time.
