FUN TIME LESSON

A young woman worked for a merchant wholived on top of a hill. She had to walk down the hilleveryday to collect water from a stream. She hadtwo pots to carry water, which she hung upon a poleand carried over her shoulders. One of the pots hada crack, but she still used it. The woman would fillthem to the brim, and walk back up the hill. By thetime she reached the house, the cracked pot wouldonly be half full.

When the cracked pot saw water filled to thetop in the other pot, it began to feel desolate. After afew years, the cracked pot spoke to the lady, “ Iapologise for my flaws. I spill half of the water. Iam of no good”. The lady replied, “As we return tothe master’s house, I want you to look at the pathwe traverse”. The next time, the pot carefullyobserved the path up the hill.

On his side of the trail, the pot noticed beautifulflowers growing in abundance, while the other sidewas still dry. The lady said, “I had always knownabout your cracks and I took advantage of it to waterthose beautiful flowers along the way. “Without youbeing just the way you are, the path uphill would nothave this beauty.”

LESSON: Each one of us in unique and we haveour own flaws. It is our little quirks and faultsthat make us and the world so interesting.
