Sandra Saavedra,Bilingual SocialWorkerI couldn't be happier to bereturning to New LebanonSchool and start the yearwith all our students as theschool social worker. I wasborn in Peru, moved toStamford with my familywhen I was 2 years old, andmany years later, I still residethere with my husband andour dog, Tulip! Prior tocoming to New LebanonSchool, I was a carecoordinator connectingfamilies to communityresources before receivingmy Masters in Social Workfrom Fordham Universityand becoming a therapist towork with children andfamilies. I enjoy hiking,traveling, and learning aboutdifferent cultures. I'm verymuch looking forward toworking will all our studentsand families this year!

Dr. Lisa Melmed,PsychologistThis is Dr. Melmed's 6th yearat New Lebanon as a schoolpsychologist. She is workingpart-time this year, primarilywith 1st and 3rd grades. Onher "off" days, she takes careof her two young children.Dr. Melmed always knew shewanted to be a psychologistand took her �rst psychclass at age 15! Beforegraduate school, she workedat NYU Medical doing clinicalresearch on adult ADHDmedications. In her free timeshe loves to cook, ski andspend time with her familyand friends

Jessica McEvily,PsychologistMrs. McEvily is delighted tobe back full time at NewLebanon this school year.She started as NewLebanon's full time schoolpsychologist back in 2007!Mrs. McEvily was part timeat NL before this year sothat she could spend a littlemore time being a Mom. Herchildren are now both inelementary school; Ryan is inthird grade and Alexandra isin kindergarten. In additionto working full time andbeing a mom, Mrs. McEvily isnow also a student! She isgoing to Sacred HeartUniversity to obtain herAdministration Certi�cation.Mrs. McEvily is lookingforward to a jam packed,exciting year!

Elizabeth White,Special EducationTeacherElizabeth White recentlymoved to Connecticut fromCypress, Texas were shetaught for 11 years inCypress-FairbanksIndependent School District.She spent 7 years teaching2nd grade Math and Scienceand 4y Interdisciplinaryyears teaching in the SpecialEduction Program. Shegraduated from University ofHouston in 2006 with adegree in Early ChildhoodInterdisciplinary Studies. Sheis trilled to be joining our NewLebanon Community.

Chris Carlin,Special EducationTeacherMy name is Chris Carlin. Thisis my 20th year teaching andmy 10th year in GreenwichPublic Schools. I lovespending time with myfamily which includes mywife, son, two daughters,and I can’t forget about mytwo dogs. I also enjoywatching and rooting for myfavorite New York sportsteams, playing golf andskiing. It has been greatworking at New LebanonSchool and I am reallylooking forward to thisupcoming school year!

Lauren LoConte,Special EducationTeacherMy name is Lauren LoConteand I am one of the specialeducation teacher’s at NewLebanon School. This is mythird year at New Lebanonand I have had theopportunity to workthroughout the building asan instructional assistantand substitute. I’ve beenfortunate enough to be ableto work with every student inthe building to somecapacity. I have learned somuch from being in theGreenwich Public Schoolsdistrict and I am excited tocontinue to grow as aneducator while helpingstudents reach their goals!Outside of school I enjoyspending time with myfamily (especially my 2 dogs)and working out. I’m lookingforward to another greatyear at New Leb!

Cindy Boucard,Special EducationTeacherI am thrilled to be returningto New Lebanon School formy 7th year here as a SpecialEducation Teacher. Igraduated from AlbertusMagnus College with aBachelor’s Degree in ChildPsychology and received mySpecial EducationCerti�cation with aconcentration in AutismSpectrum Disorders fromSouthern Connecticut StateUniversity. More recently, Ireceived my Certi�cation inAdministration from SacredHeart University. During the2017-2018 school year, Iserved as the InterimAssistant Principal of NewLeb for 6 weeks, which Ienjoyed tremendously.Outside the classroom, Ienjoy traveling, drinkingstrong coffee, and �ndinggood deals on amazonprime. I look forward toanother amazing school yearwith our students andfamilies.

I just had a beautiful babygirl, Mila, and after spendingsome special time at homewith her, I plan on returningto New Leb in the end ofDecember.

Johnny Quezada,Special EducationTeacherHello my name is JohnnyQuezada and I am a specialeducation teacher here atNew Lebanon School. This ismy 5th year working in theGreenwich Public Schoolssystem; during these years Ihave had the opportunity towork as a professionalassistant, general educationteacher, and specialeducation teacher. This is mysecond year at NewLebanon School as a specialeducation teacher and I havelearned so much working insuch a great environment. Ialso coach the GreenwichHigh School freshman boyssoccer team, as well asdifferent club teams in town.Outside of work I enjoyspending time with myfamily and adventuring outto new places. I enjoyworking at New LebanonSchool which has welcomedme with open arms since dayone.

Genny Morales,Speech andLanguagePathologistI am thrilled to be startinganother year at NewLebanon a place that feelslike home to me! Becoming aSpeech LanguagePathologist was a dream Ihad 18 years ago and once Ifound my calling I haven'tstopped nurturing my skillset, knowledge, and passionfor what I do. I received myundergraduate degree inCommunication Sciencesfrom New York Universityand my graduate degree inCommunication Disordersfrom Mercy College. Icontinued my education inthe Bilingual Extensionprogram at Teachers Collegeand also hold a Post MA inBilingual Education fromNew York University. AnEnglish and Spanish speakerfrom a Puerto Rican home,my language and culturalbackground provides apersonal experience withdual and second languagelearning. I am greatly lookingforward to working with allof my students alongsidetheir families this schoolyear! Thank you for trustingme with their care! Here's toanother year of learning!
